her grave marker has been vandalized and turned upside down on it's face. I photographed and marked where it should be and also photographed the damage.

Hello. Mountainbiker here. I thought I would drop you a line. I'm interested because subj is also my 5th ggf. You had left a note on the memorial I created for him. My parents left me a treasure trove of family history in the line of Phillip.
Unfortunately, it appears "Hewitt Cemetery" near McCracken, Aleppo Township, Greene County, PA is abandoned? Do you know exactly where it is located? Patty Houston wrote in 1949 it is on the hill about a mile west of Sugar Grove Church and cemetery.
On Google Earth, the church and cemetery are clearly identifyable. 1 mile from there places the cemetery on the left just past where Jacobs Road intersects Hewitt Run.
Do you know this area?
Raymond Bell does good work. I have ground-truth most of the stuff he has published on the Hewitt Family. I learned all of his work was written in German. Transliteration mistakes to English has caused some false conclusions as I understand. However, I think he is right.
I have been to Hewitt Cemetery in Rices Landing and most of Peter's kin are there, but Henry's family is in Hewitt Cemetery in McCracken. Bell (and/or the translators) had that right.
Peter and Phillip were very close brothers who served the Lord faithfully. They predate the Rices Landing cemetery. I have a feeling they are buried together in McCracken.
I have been to the graves of several of Peter's children and found them except Henry which is reportedly in McCracken (Hewitt Cemetery); Jacob and Sarah in Glyde (Beth Lutheran Cem); Peter (Augusta, Carroll Co., Oh and probably brother, John; Adam (HC in Rices Landing). I have some of his remaining daughters figured out too.

Go ahead and put in the request, incase someone gets there before I do.
It is very hot here right now, heat index of 120+, and there is very little shade there. The cemetery is not mapped, so will have to walk it. I haven't been out there for some time so don't remember exactly where she is buried.

I took off one of them, left the temp. marker until the new one is added.
I will try and get over there to take it within the next couple of weeks, unless someone else does.
