Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since I was 10 years old....My mom had me help do the research to prove my lineage to join the Children of the American Revolution in the mid-1970's.

My primary states of research are Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.

While we are kin to a good many of our postings, we are not kin to all. If we happen to see a memorial that is for a veteran, unique or otherwise touching to us, we will take a photo and post it if needed.

Crestlawn Cemetery Atlanta
Regarding your request at Crestlawn Cemetery. Please contact them and make up some story of how a relative wants to visit and ask them to email you a map of the section where they are buried and email th map to me and I'll try to find them.

I do not want to have to go in the office and ask for the location because they might not be so forthcoming

Your request for Charles Coakley
I looked at every Hartwood Presbyterian Church cemetery gravestone 1/25/2017. There are some illegible stones. I found only two Coakley gravestones, David's of 1983 and Fannie's of 1993. Existing photos show those two have unmarked space beside them -- maybe the church office could tell you whether Charles has an unmarked grave, or maybe identify one of the illegible gravestones as his. Sorry I couldn't do better.

I usually post the source if I know it. When my cousin Reva Wade Weeks died, she left a box full of obituaries that she had clipped from varous sources over many years. This is one of her clippings.

I scanned and posted a large number of obituaries. When I finished I sent the clipping back to Floyd County. Rarely did I know which newspaper she clipped them from.

Reva was an avid genealogist who lived in Salem, Virginia, but was from Floyd County, Virginia. She and her husband subscibed to the Roanoke Times and the Floyd Press, but had access to other newspapers.
