Elizabeth Kirkpatrick St Clair
30751356 - Is there any possibility that her date of death might be earlier than 1888? She was located in Middle AR on the 1870 census.

Her husband, Lorenzo Dow St Clair married Mary Elizabeth Camp on 24 May 1875. It is complicated because she appears to be known as Elizabeth on the 1880.

Can you help me sort out the two Elizabeths?

William Chandler
RE: Re: James Chandler (Eusebia)
As to why he was buried in Blount Co. when he died in Sevier Co., I have pondered that myself. Just a thought, the Boyds Creek area was home to the Timothy Chandler bloodline who owned the Wheatlands Plantation which at 4500 acres was the largest in Sevier County. According to my research, James was a second cousin. The Wheatland Chandlers owned Boyds Creek. They were Confederate supporters and James son and grandson joined the Union Army. It is possible that there was hard feelings between them. Timothy's daughter Mary lived in the Wildwood area. Perhaps she assisted in the burial of Barbara Keicher Chandler. Just a thought.

RE: Re: James Chandler (Eusebia)
No, I am the gg grandson of John Kyker Chandler. My g grandfather was Joel Calvin Chandler who is buried in Boyds Creek cemetery. His grave is mistakenly identified as Joel "G" Chandler. He is buried next to his wife, Harriet Thomas Chandler. I have found the marriage record for Joel C. Chandler and Harriet Thomas. He was a miller in Sevier County near Boyds Creek. They had one child, William R. Chandler who died in Sevier County but was buried in Knoxville's Greenwood Cemetery.

Re: James Chandler (Eusebia)
Cannot locate the actual gravesite for James Chandler and Barbara Keicher Chandler in Eusebia Cemetery. Is there a map showing the gravesite locations?

RE: James William Herdon's wife Mary
Thanks for your rely. If I find anything I will certainly let you know. I have contacted the county on another question, and they were very helpful. I did check all the burials listed on the cemetery's online list, and Mary was not among them.
Thanks again.

James William Herdon's wife Mary
Hi Dorothy, I have been searching for the burial place of my g-g-grandfather's first wife, Mary Dickey, b 1820 d 1840, She had one child, Lucinda Thompson Herndon, and it looks like she died at child-birth or soon after. I haven't found all the records I need yet. Since James William Herndon and his second, Elizabeth Permelia Walton, are both buried in the Sulphur Springs Cemetery SW 56, Simpson County, Kentucky, I was hoping that Mary would be also...but can't find her.

I am just learning to search, and I would so appreciate any suggestions that you could give me for searching for this grave. I have looked on Ancestry, but haven't found her there yet.

Thanks in advance,
