Great Grandson of William Wilber Stratton who was the 2nd child and oldest Son of Ezra Millard Stratton (the one born in 1833).

Also the Great Grandson of James T. Reynolds, father of my maternal Grandfather Oscar "O.C." Reynolds. I am still looking for James' burial location and any ancestral information.

Shannon Cemetery, Bluffton, OH
Hi. I currently am a member on Facebook of Preserving Ohio's Cemeteries. Our group was working on a project to help save Shannon Cemetery from a council and community spokesperson who wanted to turn the cemetery into a park. Stones were taken down and stored. Long story short, this group and some concerned individuals got involved in seeing what could be done to get it restored and halt the progress. I personally looked for photos (yours) and copied to our album so the members could see what stones had been photographed and add them to bits and pieces members had collected to see who was buried there. Is this ok to use? If not we will take the album down. I didn't know if you were aware of this situation but your photos helped with the project. Thank you

"Edits" tab on home page
HI - I'm doing a quick survey of about 400 people on my friends list just to see how many are aware of the new "Edits" tab on their home page. If you could just shoot me back a brief response, either way that would be great. Thanks.

Phyllis (Porter) Zegers
Velma Young
Hello, My name is Phyllis Zegers. I see from your Find-A-Grave posts that you are somewhat related to Flora (Young) Stratton, the sister of Velma Young. I have recently researched Velma's history and made additions to her Find-A-Grave memorial (86802123) and links to her parents, Maurice and Orrel Young. I thought you might be interested in Velma's history if you don't already have that information. I have an interest in those like Velma who died at the Oregon State Institutions and whose cremains were never taken by the family. My hope is to let relatives know where the cremains are now in case they would like to claim them. I though you might know some of Velma's living relatives.

Shannon Cemetery
Hi. I saw where you posted those buried in Shannon Cemetery, Bluffton, Ohio. Do you know much about that cemetery? Do you live near Bluffton? The town of Bluffton will be celebrating susquentennial (150 yrs) next year and I am helping to find information about the Shannon Cemetery and the Old Bluffton Cemetery. Bluffton was originally the town of Shannon. Thanks.
