Working on ancestry is a hobby of mine, along with photography. I really appreciate everyone that has contributed to this site and hope to become a good contributor myself. I know how exciting it is to discover new information or just to see the resting place of an ancestor, so my intent is to give that back to others. I also know how it is to be stuck at a stand-still and then to discover a (free!!!) site like this that provides me with that link in the chain I needed. I truly appreciate everyone involved!|
I have photographed New Palestine and London Cemeteries in Indiana and am currently working on getting Hanover Cemetery transcribed and photographed. I have no relatives in any of these, so if anyone would like a transfer of any memorial please send a request. :)
Everyone may use my photos however you wish. I take these photos for families to enjoy and to help with ancestry research, so please do make use of them!
"You see the place where I am laid,
death is a debt that must be paid,
and as by me you find tis true,
and time will prove it so with you.
Let not your time be run to waste,
in vain delight to please the taste,
but for another world prepare,
for time is short. You must be there!"

|Sarah Saenz||Charles Everett Green & William Leslie Green|
I'm confused as to how you found that they were the same person. I am working on their family tree (as they are distant relations to me) and I'm finding records that indicate there was a Charles Everett Green & a Leslie (which you show as William) both existing as two separate brothers. The 1910 census shows both names with their family. Charles shows being 11 years old and Leslie shows to be 9 years old. Help me to understand how you thought they were the same person please. (Charles dob 30 August 1897 fag 107764319 and William Leslie 30 September 1900 fag 3712683 )
|Barb Applegate Daniel||Thank you!|
Julie, you have done a wonderful job on the memorials you have created - thank you! I have many ancestors in Hanover Cemetery and the Shelby County, Indiana area. I will be sending updates for my grandparents, Vernon Cole Patten (112482492) and Julia Anne Gordon Patten (112482691), and my step-grandmother, Anna Mauzy Patten (112482657). At my age, I'm not sure it's a good idea to transfer them to me, but if you prefer to do that, you can. Thank you for your hard work - it is excellent!

Thanks so much for updating the memorial for Mary E. Boring. I always appreciate your help!
Have a great weekend,
|Genna Vinson||Vinson's Cheeks Buffington's|
Thank you Julie this helps.
Thanks for offering to help. I think I need to go back over my tree on ancestry to figure out exactly what I want. Every time I get away from it for awhile working on other lines I have a hard time remembering what I was looking for. Do you know how the Huffman's and Vinson's are related? My DNA thought there was direct relationship. Genna
|Genna Vinson||John Vinson & Abagail (Cheek) Vinson|
Hi Julie, I am a descendant of John and Abagail (nee Cheek) Vinson. James Summers Huffman's name came up as a possible descendant on my DNA on Ancestry.com. I have added many of their descendants and cousins. Some of the names are Buffington, Carbaugh, & Canfield. Would like to hear if you have some connections that you could share with me. Thanks so much. Genna Vinson

Hi Julie. You are a blessing. Would you mind transferring the memorial for Kathalene to me? She is buried at London Cemetery, Shelby Co., In. Memorial no. 54440729. She is my brother-in-laws grandmother. He has been looking for her for a while. Didn't have a clue where she was buried. Thanks to you we now know and have a photo. WOW ! I have some family info. I would like to post for him. My # is 4759092.

My third great grandfather was Elizabeth's brother John Carbaugh. I descend from his daughter Harriett Susan Carbaugh. I am always looking for people to connect with who can help fit the pieces together. I am also on ancestry.com. Just yesterday, I connected with a second cousin who had pictures of my great and great great grandparents. We found each other here on findagrave. Thanks for the work you are doing. It means so much.
