|Started on my genealogy in 1994 and have accumilated a large list of deceased relatives and not so related. Primarly from the Grant County, WI. area, but many branched out to other areas. We travel in our motorhome on occasion and when near a cemetery I take pictures of the tombstones. I try to get pictures of the older tombstones that can be read and from the smaller cemeteries. |

|Renaldo Browne||RE: Birth dates for Winters|
20 years off, that's a lot of years to wing a birth year. :-)
I know what you mean about moving on.
On Henry H. Winter/s Headstone, the date of birth reads 24 Sep 1820, but, seems like all other records indicate that he was born in 1840.
I think the date of birth on the tombstone is off by 20 years.
I based this on his Civil War Record, which reads that he was born in 1840. Day and month is correct.

Can you verify the correct dates of birth for Catherine Cork Winter (4 Jan 1812) (Peter Winter's Wife), and Henry H. Winter (24 Sep 1820)(Peter's Son).
If he was born on 24 Sep 1820, that would have made his mother 8 years old when Henry was born.

John. Thanks for all you are doing for F.A.G. There is a double memorial for # 137075847 in Dodge cemetery Grant, Wisconsin. I see the first was posted January 2, 2012. Yours was posted October 10, 2014, is there anyway you can remove your post? Thank you Billy J. Culligan
|Julia Klos Burch||Can you transfer management?|
Emma C. Nelson and John Nelson are my great great grandparents. Not a big deal if you can't transfer management of them, I have no new information except that I did find out I am related. They are in Scandanavian Cemetary in Rockford Illinois. Respectfully, Julia Klos Burch
|root bound||RE: Daniel and Hiram Bushnell|
Sorry to hear your ill, hope you feel better soon.
Your welcome for the info. I was very excited to see you found Daniel, I was wondering about Minerva, if she's there too. I was also wondering if you'd be going back to Lima Union Cemetery sometime. I believe Hiram's wife Jane is buried there, possibly in an unmarked grave, as Hiram's was also unmarked until 1932 when the current stone was placed. I hope you don't mind me asking, I'm just very excited. Hiram and Daniel are my grandfathers and I assume they're yours also, so hello relative.
Please, if you'd get back to me when you're feeling better I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
|root bound||Hiram Bushnell|
Hiram's parents Daniel Milton Bushnell and Minerva Coe both died in Grant County, WI.
The last place of residence I have for them was Harrison in Grant County. Unfortunately I don't have a burial place for them, but that would be a place to start.
Hope this helps.
