Bio

Because of the work of others, I have been able to identify my family history. As a payment to them, I feel an obligation to assist others in their searches. I do enjoy searching and photographing your requests in this area.
My primary research focuses on the Stone family who migrated to Greene County, Indiana, from North Carolina, and is recorded in my material "The Stones of Greene County, Indiana."
Information for 314 memorials for Civil War veterans has been taken from my book "Our Forgotten Heroes: Elwood's Good, Brave, and Gallant Soldiers of the Civil War" and from "United in Common Ground" Blue/Grey Civil War Soldiers" by Marjorie Miller Pierce and Linda Ead, with their permission. Most photos are by Pierce and Ead.
