|Vance Wiley||Hays in Erik Cemetery|
Thank you for providing the memorials for my father's Uncle Elihu Hays, Aunt Pearl Bradley Hays, and cousin Molena Evelyn Hays.
It is comforting to know that the family is together and connected to their parents, children, and siblings.I spent the fall of 1949 with them pulling bolls in the cotton fields. Uncle Elihu had moved from the family in Arkansas and lived near Quail, Texas for 50 years, They had only the one daughter, Evelyn, who had no children, and it has felt like they were so so alone. The memorial and the links help.

Hello Mr. Pigg
Thank you very much for the transfer of my great great grandmother Margaret.
|Deveney Herb||Joel Edwin Everett|
Hi, You have listed Joel Edwin Everett born in 1835 but there were two Joel E Everetts.
My Great Grandfather, Joel Edwin Everett that was married to Mary Frances Deal and is the GRANDSON of Solomon and Mary Doster Everett not his son.
Joel Edwin's father is Samuel Doster Everett born 3 March 1801 in North Carolina and died 4 February 1872 in Floyd County, Georgia.
Joel's mother is Elysebeth "Betsy" Roe born 1809 in South Carolina and died after 1880. Both Samuel and Elysebeth Everett are buried in the Sugar Valley Cemetery in Gordon County, Georgia but there are no headstones.
Solomon's son Joel E Everett was born 1811 and not much known on him.
Thanks so much for all your efforts at the Erick Cemetery. Most of my family is buried there! Kind Regards,
Deveney Campbell Herb
