Dear Ms Hinton
Thank you for your recent email.
The parish records of St Giles Cripplegate are held at London Metropolitan Archives and have been digitised by Ancestry. We have checked the burial registers for this church on Ancestry and the only John Hinton we can find there in 1682 is a John Hinton, son of John Hinton, carpenter, deceased, who was buried on 24 May 1682. This entry would appear to relate to a child, and therefore cannot be the Dr John Hinton you are researching. Browsing forwards through the same burial register, we could not see any entry for the burial of a John Hinton on or just after 10 October 1682.
However, we note from the information you provided that Sir John Hinton died in the parish of St Martin in the Fields. This appears to be confirmed by online sources such as the following:
The records of the parish of St Martin in the Fields are held by the City of Westminster Archives Centre and we would therefore advise you to contact them to establish whether they hold any records of memorials in the church, or if remains were ever removed from that church.
Records of the administration of estates granted by the Prerogative Court of Canterbury (PCC) - as referred to in online article above - are held at the UK's National Archives (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/). However, there does not appear to have been a will for Sir John Hinton, and the grant of administration of his estate is unlikely to be very informative.
I hope that this is of some assistance, and we wish you success with your research.
Yours Sincerely, W. Hawke on behalf of London Metropolitan Archives

Please revise the St. Giles memorial. I am following through to find the actual grave site (and marker if possible) - it has been suggested that sir John Hinton was buried at St. Mary's Churchyard at Chilton Foliat, Wiltshire where his parents and possibly other family members are said to be buried - unfortunately the scanned page sent to me by the church authorities is torn, blotched and many names are missing - as would be expected of a page from the mid 1500s.
Thank you, Margie Hinton email@example.com
The only Breetzke West Lawn has is La Rue and you already have a picture.

You have requested a photo of the above grave, the deceased being buried in Liverpool Cathedral, England.
I should be interested to know from where you obtained the information that Edward Stanley was buried in Liverpool Cathedral? The C of E Cathedral was not started until the early 1900's, the foundation stone being laid on 19 July 1904.
There is a cemetery below the cathedral which is much earlier but that is called St James cemetery. However, that cemetery was closed in 1936 so is unlikely to be where Edward Stanley was buried.
If you have any more definite information about the place of burial let me know.
