|I am trying to help people with their family history. |
I will continue to list a new memorial so people can find it when the first and last names are totally different than Green Hills shows.
To the wonderful, nice people on findagrave, I will gladly add dates, relationships, plot and grave, etc., just let me know.
If you want a transfer, please include your findagrave contributor number and the relationship (she's my aunt, neighbor, friend. For the last 2, indicate how long you've known them.)
If I'm not related, or you're a closer relative or I have known them a shorter time, I will transfer.
I'm in the process of adding a source to the Fredericksburg National Cemetery monuments. Until I finish, it's listed in the book Civil War Burials Fredericksburg Virginia,compiled and edited by Maude E. Mercer Sellman 1979.
I walked Green Hills for exercise, sometimes forgot the broom to sweep the stones. If you need a better picture, request a photo from a volunteer.
I don't use my real name cuz of a toxic couple on findagrave! I believe they are inactive now!
Happy ancestor hunting!

|Susie Heslar Butcher||Mark Hanna picture|
Hi Donna!I was doing some more researching and found the picture you posted on Mark Hanna in Mayes County, Oklahoma, Rose Cemetery. Mark is not in that picture. That is James(Jim)Helton,my great uncle, Rebecca Hanna, (Mark's wife) My grandmother, and John Hanna, (in the checkered shirt) their son. Somehow I lost you in correspondence.

It has been quite sometime since you have posted this memorial:
Record added: Dec 22, 2008
Find A Grave Memorial# 32331587
Do you happen to know where you found the information about Logan's death date? He was my husband's great grandfather.
|Gwen Lott||RE: Samuel McKee # 22262353|
Thank you. Not being a Civil War buff I don't know any dates. I guess that narrows it down a bit. I don't suppose you know anything else about Mr. McKee other than what is on Find A Grave? He is very elusive. I am grateful to find him posted on Find A grave. THANK YOU again.
|Gwen Lott||Samuel McKee # 22262353|
I am researching the McKee family and would like to know more about Mr. Samuel McKee # 22262353 listed on Find A Grave. I know the site says he died after Shiloh, but what does that mean? Can you give me an approximate month/year?
I tried to message the email listed on the site but it bounced back to me.
I am trying to confirm that a Sarah Jane McKee is his daughter and I have conflicting information on her year of birth. One says 1865 and another one says June 1864. If Samuel McKee died in 1863 then Sarah Jane McKee could NOT be his daughter. Follow me? So any info you have on Mr. McKee will be much appreciated.

|Martin III||Amzi Martin|
I just discovered that my g-g uncle is buried in Magnolia Cemetery in Baton Rouge, Amzi Martin. I noticed there is no birth year posted. He was born in 1816 in Mendham, NJ. Parents were Elijah and Mary Martin (of same town). Can tell you more about him, he has an interesting bio. If not interested in that, that's fine. But wanted to at least provide his birth year and birthplace. I might even have the month of his birth somewhere, but would need a little more time to dig that up.

Dear D K Railsback B,
I'm sorry to bother you again for I sent you a previous request, but may I use your photograph of the grave of John Logan Grove (Find A Grave Memorial# 3713325)?
|Kathy Ballard||Linking of grave|
Hello I was wondering if you could tell me if the grave stone for Norman J Smith b 1909 d 1972 #47044837 Is next to the grave stone for Lydia Smith b 1908 d 1993 #63846815?
My Great Aunt was married to a Norman, but I am not sure of his middle name or dates of his birth and death. I think she was buried in the same cem. as he was.
I would like to link them up if this is the case.
Thank you for you help.

I have reviewed the findagrave report on the above mentioned person, a great aunt of mine. She is the sister of my grandmother Iva Pearl. You have listed that Mary E was born in Franklin County, Il...can you tell me how you established this birthplace. I was of the understanding that Charles Wayman and Margaret Ann children were born in the Dallas Tx. area before they, the Charles Motsinger family left Texas and relocated in the Southern part of Illinois--Franklin County. I believed that they had settled in that area around 1903-05 at the time the City of Sesser was established. The Motsinger Family lived in the Greenwood area of Franklin County.
Please get back to me regarding this information.
|BWard1206||Margaret Palmer Cross Picture|
I really appreciate that you have posted the picture of the Palmers on Maggie's page. Maggie is my Great Great Grandmother. I can see that the names of those in the backrow are listed on the picture but do not see the front row. Do you know who the 4 are in the front row and can you send me that information? Also, how are they all related?
Thank you again and in advance. Sure love seeing photos of my ancestors that I may never have been able to without sites like this.
