Bio and Links
Bio Photo My family doesn't understand my obsession for recording headstones, uncover Markers and link lost family members. I have dug my way in the bushes and scraped many headstone for others. I love doing research on my family tree. Everyone should have their name etched in history. I hope to help provide this information. Currently working on my Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) and plan on working on (DAR) Daughters of the American Revolution.
research :Abernathy, Allred, Blanton,Buchanan, Clepper, Garner, Gilbert, Herrington, Lackey, Mason, Neeley, Pace, Pierot, Powell, Sledge, Smith

Be kind to this web site for its mission to find a grave--tombstones not a family album unless you are willing to sponsor this memorial.
I have chosen Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery to be my goal to photograph the entire cemetery.

Any and all pictures can be used without any further contact, I took them for your use. Thank you for allowing me to help and enjoy your search as much as I do.

Arnold Roitsch
Brenda, you have the wrong obituary for Arnold Roitsch. The obituary on his memorial is for a different person. His family is upset and would like to have it corrected.
Arnold's obituary is on the Nowlin Anders Funeral Home wedsite.

RE: womack
That link didn't work, it works in an email. Do you have an email I can send it to you at?

RE: womack
On the persons page, click EDIT BIO .. then wherever you want just type:
Brothers & Sisters
Then paste this line as many times as you need for each bro and sis.

I put the .... so it hopefully wont see it as link here in email.
Anyway just put that line 3 or 4 or whatever times you need. NOW ....
where it says >Name< in the line, put whatever the persons name is, and take the word NAME out, but leave the > < where they are.
Then go to each persons page after you have the persons name where it says name ... and at the bottom of each persons page is their memorial # at the very bottom. Now you have to take the XXXXXXX's out and put that # of the persons page there.

Now be sure to take the ....... 's off before each line you paste. so each line starts with the

RE: Jeptha T Rogers
Jeptha Rogers was my great great grandfather. I had been trying to find the cemetery for several years. This time we got help from the Weakley County Courthouse. A man who lived nearby loaned us his four wheeler and off we went into deep woods. The headstones we found were very clear. We plan to go back this winter when the undergrowth dies out and we hope to find the rest of the graves.

Find A Grave Memorial# 171733471
I've done some more searching. I also found another photo which identifies him as Marvin W. Logan. In addition, I called Cook-Walden Cem and Mausoleum and spoke with a gentleman there. I asked if he was born in MO an the answer was, he was born in Independence, MO which is Jackson Co. and the location shown on the 1830 and 1840 census records.

The photo in my possession dated April, 1992, Austin, Texas identifies Marvin and Wanda Logan. She has not be interred so is still living.

Please link him to his parents-father Glen Wood Logan 128567420 & mother Hannah Sophia Carter 128567397.

Thank you.
