Bio and Links
I have been researching the families of my husband and myself for over 25 years, primarily for the benefit of our only child, and now our three grandchildren. Of course, they are all very busy with their lives and what I do is of little interest to them. After all, how much fun can working with dead people, so to speak, really be to a ten-year-old. But one day he and they will finally want to know - Who are we? Where do we come from? - and I might not be around to fill them in. There are so very many rich, often heartbreaking family stories to tell, and so very few of these folks still alive to recall them. Sadly, most have passed away and taken the answers to the questions I still have, but these folks do not deserve to be forgotten and I have tried to do what I can to preserve their lives. Find A Grave is an amazing research tool and the pictures are a treasure. I have mostly enjoyed my years as a contributor/member and am proud to say that all of the memorials I have created or manage or corrected or made suggestions for are in some way related to our family or so my family tree software tells me. Well, with the exception of two, a minister and his wife, who meant a great deal to us, and there is still the hope that a link might one day be found to either of them. If I offer corrections or suggestions, it is kindly meant, and only done to fill in a blank or link a person to their family or offer some information I found in print. It is not done without proof and if it is not accepted, for whatever reason, it may upset me, but at least I tried. I do want to thank the members who have generously taken the time to tramp around a cemetery, recording what they find, relative or not, and then create memorials, sometimes with little but a picture and a couple of incomplete dates. These folks highlight the very intent of "Find" A Grave. What does make me madder than anything are the members who create and collect memorials like beads on a string or scalps on a coup stick and refuse to make corrections or accept suggestions, not to mention their reaction to a request for a transfer. If you have any additions or corrections to my memorials, please let me know and if any of these folks are of interest to you - if your are related to them - then we are "kin", too. If I have offended anyone by what I have written, well, all I can say is, sorry...

Inez's grave stone is in Brandon Cemetery. Look at Find A Grave# 181461457. I did not realize there was another memorial bec I was looking in Brandon. I wonder if you can change cemeteries, keeping all the info you have. I will delete my memorial, and add the photo to your memorial. I am not a relative.
