Researching the following families:
Steinbrink, Knoll, Haston, Whitlock, Allen, Baumgardner

I have an unique style of grave photos --

1) Close up of name in gravestone
2) Close up of gravestone
3) Overall of gravestone + grave

That way you can feel closer!

Plus, if i notice someone related to the person u ask me to shoot, I will take a chance and shoot it. Be that of a infant, spouse, child. If it is within the same plot, it gets photographed.

If you want the photos emailed to you, Let me know and I will be happy to do it.

** Notice ** Every week, 1 or 2 days, I do a full cemetery run of over 250+ miles, trying to fulfill requests in the Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding cities - 15-20 cemeteries/run ** If I travel out of town, I will make an effort to stop at a few cemeteries to handle your requests.

** If I claimed a photo request that YOU would like me to relinquish to you, please notify me first and the reason. (Doesn't mean I will release the claim) I claim requests usually because 1) Its a cemetery i frequent 2) Its a new cemetery that Ive never been to and want to check it out! **

** If you want to give me a challenging assignment - finding a lost cemetery, a lost grave within a cemetery, tricky directions to get to a cemetery, I will meet all challenges!! Just send me email and see if I can handle it. (Ive gotten a lot of emails challenging me to find some graves -- my success rate so far is about 85%. Believe me, Ive had some grateful people!!!!)

If you really want to say thank you, how about sponsoring one of my memorials that I create here? You're supporting FindaGrave and allows them to connect people with their loved ones. Its only $5 a memorial. =)

** For those of you who want permission to use my photos, have at it. I hold no copyrights to any of the photos that I take. **

Julius and Julius :-)
Thanks so much for your response (re the photo of Harriet's headstone) - I understand, of course. Would you be kind enough however to switch the photos you took of the headstones of the two Julius Haydens so the right photographs will be with the right memorials? I really do appreciate the hassle this is, but it's all our goal to have the most accurate memorials possible. Thank you again for your gracious help! Deirdre

Find A Grave Memorial# 38839421 - Julius Hayden
More on the Hayden graves - The photos currently posted for Julius A Hayden (Sr.) and Julius A Hayden II are attached to the wrong memorials, so I'd like to get that corrected. I have submitted a photo of the correct photo for Julius Hayden II just now. The other headstone pics on his page belong to his father's memorial page - and vice versa.

The father and mother are mentioned on the large family obelisk, but their headstones are next to one another under a nearby magnolia tree. The son's headstone is nearby - a brother is buried next to him. I have written to you just a moment ago about getting a photo of Harriet's (the mom's) stone added to her page. And if we could get these pics of the two Julius' adjusted, we'd be all set.

I realize how confusing this is with families using the same names and not adding dates. The first clue was the fact that the mother and father are buried next to each other with identical engraving on their stones and the son is nearby but not next to them. Thank you very much for taking the time to consider all of this and for making the corrections! Deirdre

Find A Grave Memorial# 38839349 - Harriet Cone Hayden
Hi and thank you helping to create such a lovely page for Harriet Cone Hayden! I was at the Oakland Cemetery recently and took a photo of her indivdual headstone - she and her husband both have individual markers along with the large family obelisk. I tried to upload the photo of her headstone, but the max number of pics already have been added to this memorial. I wonder if you would consider removing the close up photo you have added of the obelisk itself (as there is already a photo of the obelisk and a close up, too) so I could add the photo of her headstone to her memorial? If you would like to see the photo I took of her individual headstone next to her husband's I would be glad to send it to you. I hate to ask you to remove something you posted, but upon looking at the pics, it seems like the addition of the photo of her headstone would add to the memorial. Thank you so much for considering this unusual request. Deirdre

Thank you so much for the help and time. There are 10 different ways to spell this name and still be connected. What I have noted is that a lot of the BRUMBELOW family were poor and did not have a lot of money, especially around the depression time. Thus many did not have headstones unless family came back later and placed one in memory. Just a lot of sandstones. Thanks for the church phone number I will try to contact them. If by chance you run into a JP Brumbeloe, Brumbalow or Brumbelow(James Presley Brumbeloe) who died sometime in the 1870's and last known in the Cave Springs, Floyd Co. GA and his wife was in Town, Haralson Co GA in 1880. Not sure where Town is in Haralson Co, just know that was the name posted on an 1880 census. Thanks again.

A BIG Thank You!
Thanks for taking the time to get the photo I requested. I know it isn't easy to walk an entire graveyard searching for that one headstone, especially in the heat. So thanks again!

Re: Sarah Hoyle
Scott, Thank you very much for searching the Flint Hill Cemetery for Sarah's headstone. The one Hoyle that you did find was her husband Adam, so she's probably close by. Maybe she never had a headstone?
