Can you provide the source for your information about G W Newman? I have not found any records to tie G W Newman who married Cornelia Balch to the person who is buried in Arlington. If you have the source that would be great.

Hazel S Benton #41364822
Hi Stan,

Hazel was a 1st Cousin of mine. Her name should be Hazel S Carpenter Benton. Her Mother was Ethel Mae Sloan Carpenter ( #170938437). I knew her Mother (My Aunt) but never her. We lived parallel lives. Could you please adjust her name and link her to her Mother.

Dave Sloan

P. S. Thanks for providing her Memorial

Memorial #140437064
Hi Stan,

Thanks so much for creating this memorial for Hugh L. Moore. He is my uncle (half-brother to my mother)and we have been out of touch with him for decades! Would love a photo of his memorial, which I have sent in a request for.

So you can update your memorial:
Birthdate: 15 June 1912
Death date: 10 Apr 1996

Thanks again!

Thank you very much for adding the bio note. I saw him play on a number of occasions. He is the only fiddle player who I ever saw break a string while playing.

While I was looking for the marker to fulfill a photo request for another Thomas Carey, I came across Thomas M. Carey Sr.'s marker (July 6, 1896-February 4, 1958) married to Marion L. Carey (1897-1969) in the Parkwood Cemetery and Mausoleum in Baltimore, Md. Right next to Thomas Sr.'s marker was a marker for a Thomas M. Carey Jr. (May 22, 1918-October 17, 2002) married to a Thelma Carey (1916-2007). Because of the proximity of the marker placement, the identical Sr. and Jr. names, and the birth dates, it would seem that the Thomas Jr. I found today was Thomas M. Carey Sr.'s son. Are you sure about the marker you found in the Resurrection Cemetery for Thomas Carey being connected as the son of the Thomas Carey Sr. in Parkwood?
