At 62 years old and unemployed, I have just begun my genealogy quest about 6 months ago. I am finding the experience both fascinating and frustrating. Being unemployed, I have time to work on it, and I am finding an enormous amount of tools available. However, almost all of them cost money, which I don't have. I hope to make acquaintance with other members on this site (I just realized we do NOT have a flattering acronym!), in hopes to gain tips and tricks and the most economical way to start. If you read my profile and care to contribute knowledge, I would be ever so grateful and look forward to meeting you.|
I live in SC, but was born in Texas, as were my parents. My father's family name is Gaddy and my mom's family name is Bogan, and I have been astonished to find both family names are abundant in the SC/NC area. Thus far, I have found no connection to either family, but am still looking.

I've found the memorial and deleted the photo. Have a blessed day.

Could you please give me the memorial number for your Uncle Barney's findagrave memorial. I will gladly delete the photo I added.
|Leona Henderson||RE: Thank you so much!|
Jerre--I am so glad to add another piece to the wonderful story of your cousin. My husband noted her age when we took the photograph.
My Wife is related to the Bogan Family in Castor, Would like to correspond with you to see what info and photos you may have U may e-mail me @ firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks Joshua L. Johnson
P.S. I just saw the message about the photo shoot, but I already knew it was hard to read and that is why I had written what I did.

On my next visit there, I'm going to try to get a better picture of her stone. It appears that someone has bleached a number of the older stones in this cemetery and it is hard to see the writing especially on hers. As a whole this cemetery is well maintained, but even the time of day can affect the shots of stones such as theirs. Oh, and you are very welcome. There were 9 requests for Sharon Cemetery and we found all 9, now that's good stats.

If you will go to each memorial and use the edit tab then click on "suggest a correction," you can then request a transfer. I will get an e-mail, do the transfer, and you will get a notification that I have done so.

I would be happy to transfer these two memorials to you if you wish.
