Bio Photo BIG NEWS!!! I was flooded out of Baton Rouge and am now living in Broadway Virginia where i will continue my grave hunting. .. am always on the lookout for unusual names, have added quite a few that are the only one listed, which is hard to do on here.I will always do the edit, but do not write everybody to let them know I did..I get so many edit requests, and do not mind doing them at all...Thanks .Though I have listings in many states, most are within a days drive on my home.I really enjoy fulfilling photo requests, it is like a treasure hunt, and I like knowing I am helping a loved one connect in some small way.I love driving back roads and finding cemeteries in the middle of nowhere.I add veterans of most all the wars,as a small tribute to those that have shaped our country. But I have a special affinity for the guys of World War II.These soldiers are the reason today we are a free country and we are losing them at a rate of over 1100 a day.Take time out to thank them .And then there are the ones that reach out and for whatever reason touch me.I also seek any family last names, such as Cox,Cover,Vaughn.I usually enter the info directly from the grave marker, but will add any info requested. If any errors are found please let me know and I will correct.I do find such peace and love and sadness while walking these sites. Also every one of these I have entered I actually walked the cemetery. Therefore a little more personal to me. .I want to apologize for all my errors. When I first started entering graves 16 years ago, i wrote the info down and transferred it, many times it was raining or I just could not understand my writing. Later years I add from a picture usually. So please forgive my early attempts.

Nice photograph. Not an easy one to take with the shadows and the age stains. Many thanks.

RE: Virginia childs Pullen Memorial
I don't do rain well either.

Greene county has 350 plus cemeteries and graveyard. Most are family graveyards.

We are lucky here in Greene county has the Greene County Historical Society documented all known cemeteries and graveyards and published (copywriter) them in print in tree volumes the latest in 2001. I purchased them.

I have slowed down pursuit of my goal of getting the photos on FindAGrave due to many are remote and have been abandoned. My husband is an avid golfer so my days are limited. We purchased a gas powered hedge trimmer to help clearing some of these. It pleases me when I get a responses after I have posted new photos.

Good luck in your search for tombstones. It surely is appreciated by me.
