This photo was taken in 1968 as a high school student working on a tiny graveyard restoration project. My family genealogy has been an intense 14+ year study and has led me back to circa 1755 London. Many folks have been kind enough to assist me in the tedious but rewarding research project. Contributing to Find-A-Grave is my way of giving back and paying forward.|
I believe that a memorial belongs with the family and loved ones to cherish and maintain. My mission is to be cooperative with others doing research and I am more than willing to transfer memorials I have created.
*** When photographing a memorial, I do not alter it's condition. I take them as I find them!
"I think most people can do a whole awful lot more if they just try, ... They just don't have the confidence that they can write a novel or they can write poetry or they can take pictures or paint or whatever, and so they don't do it, and they leave the planet dissatisfied with themselves."
quote from Gordon A. Parks, Sr. 1912-2006

Hi Louise. I was down in Kenbridge with a cousin yesterday, visiting family, when this guy told me there was an old cemetery behind his farm... thought I'd made a discovery, them noticed you populated it already. But I have pictures of all the gravestones, I'll probably post them tomorrow, of the Oak Forest cemetery, so check it out tomorrow! It's a beautifully maintained place. Rich.
|Margaret Gagliardi||Mary Ann Clary|
Mary Ann's stone matches James Lundy Clary, and I just created her memorial and added the photo. I am guessing she is probably James' wife. I you have any info on her, put it in the edit and I will approve.
Thanks for your help.
|Margaret Gagliardi||Mary Elizabeth Clary|
I photographed all the stones in Pleasant Hill Christian Church OLD Cemetery, and am trying to put the photos online. I have a photo for a Mary Ann Clary, whose stone matches James Lundy Clary. It does not have any dates. Do you think this could be the same person as your memorial number 130241140? If you think so I will add the photo to this memorial. Otherwise I will create a new one. Thank much. Margaret
Anne's death certificate says Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken. Fred P. I wasn't sure which Calvary. I based it on a comparison to dozens of other obits. from Narberth, Church of St. Margaret, that were buried in Calvary, Conshohocken, so it's an assumption.

Thank you for accepting the corrections. Sam is my husband's great uncle, his grandpa's brother.
I transferred both Sisters to you. Let me know if you want me to remove any clippings.

Hi Louise: you're very welcome. The section has been added to the list of those that are regularly maintained albeit on a volunteer basis. Searching for stones in these "cleared" areas is much easier than those that are not! I'm glad i went during the day, as the sun was just in the right position to cast a shadow to reveal the lettering that is usually tough to make out. Let me know if i can locate anyone else for you at MMC in the future!
Thank you Louise for the info and added it to the memorials.

I have a correction for you. I've just added some Moore's and Epperson's into my tree. I ran across Blanche M. Moore Epperson Barrett #44579022. On her 2nd marriage it says her middle name was Myrtle not Mabel, but I see no other document right now with a middle name. Also I'm not sure if you or someone else attached her to those parents but I have two records that show they should be #73017006 Thomas Sidney Moore and #73017046 Laura Ellen Weaver.
Thank you so much for all you do to help index these graves.

Would you please transfer John Francis Poythress Jr (146490803) to my control. He is my cousin and I have control of his parents and our grandparents, etc which I would like to connect him with and add some notes.
