YOU NEED TO USE THE EDIT TAB.
Due to the number of emails that we receive, we reserve the right to not respond to those who do not USE THE EDIT TAB per FAG guidelines. We do not add information from "Visitors" to FAG. Per FAG policy, we have 30 days to make a correction/addition.
We are not responsible for the 'half-sibling' notes on links or repetitious links. That is a database or submitter problem. If you do not understand why, please contact FAG.
TRANSFERS & CORRECTIONS-----Please follow the Find A Grave Guidelines for transfers and corrections and specify the relationship. "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." Please use a Virtual Cemetery to collect your non-direct ancestors or special populations.
If you feel that you are somehow 'entitled' to our copyrighted work and pictures, do not be surprised that you will be held accountable. Each and every photo on this website is the copyrighted material of the person who took the photo (some may have been passed down or have been granted permission to post/use a photo) and usually posted it if documented. Permission is usually granted when requested. This is not about sharing. The photos and pics are in fact, shared on this site. It is about the common courtesy to those that spend time, effort and money all at their own personal expense to help preserve American history.
We have met many wonderful people through FAG. Unfortunately, there have been a number of individuals who have been rude, who have not understood that we are volunteers, who have been otherwise abusive or who have been frankly bizarre and/or threatening. To that end, we will follow the FAG guidelines. It is about the hunt, not the numbers. But dealing with some of the FAG members and interlopers, we have learned to follow the guidelines.
Our family names/linages include:

|CHP_ofMississippi||Parrish Family Connections?|
Hi Cathy & Thomas,
I wonder if you have any helpful documentation on the following: You listed James L. Parrish, # 68714747, and Virginia Parrish Dodds (1862 - 1924) # 100748486 as children of James Porter Parrish # 15778531, and Jane Parrish. Between family documents of my husband's great grandmother, census records, death certificates, and death notices, I have pieced together that W.E. Parrish # 88868280, and G.S. Parrish # 15778527 are their sons as well. I have also noticed that W.E. Parrish was married to a Mary Devault Chamness, who I would guess might connect to you. How do we know that James L. and Virginia are their children? W.E. and G.S. were born in 1845 and 1847. There is a long gap until 1859 and 1862 when James L. and Virginia were born. That is not impossible, but are any of the other Parrishes in the cemetery possible children in between? I don't have enough documents to help me answer that question. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Cathy and Thomas,
Do you have any additional identifying information for this person, such as year of birth, date of death, and location of the grave that I could attempt to match with my records? The birth month and day you posted seems to be a great start; they match perfectly.
|Jerry Saylor||Anthony Chamness Jr. and Margaret Williams marriage|
You suggest that Anthony Chamness married Margaret Williams in either 1768 or 1769. Both would have been in good standing at that time yet there is no Quaker record of the marriage. Instead Anthony is "dis mou" on 1 Apr 1769. If he had married Margaret Williams, he would not have been disowned. How do you reconcile this issue.
I believe the records show her mother, also Margaret married his father in 1776, abount 3 years after Margaret's, William died in 1773.

|Dr. Robert Gibson Corder||RE: Old COrder Cemetery vs Corder-Pierce Cem|
Hi.... I have finally found someone who will maintain the Old Corder Cemetery in Amissville, VA. I have taken care of it since 1977 (except for the past few years), and it has taken me this long to find someone who lives in that general vicinity who is interested (and Corder related) in keeping the cemetery maintained. All things in good time !! :)
Robert Gibson "Bob" Corder
Mallie Hastings born 1921, I would really appreciate being able to email to discuss this family ( I descend from which I followed records all the way back to starting with DNA ) Please contact me privately at mossr at live dot com, most appreciated - I descended through her husbands side.

Thank You for the information on Hubert Butler. Records from that time period are sketchy here in Blaine County, Idaho. Always happy to receive an edit.
If you would like the memorial transferred we can do that too.

OK. Did not know that. Thanks.

That's interesting. I show Vincent as being Elisha's older brother and Sarah as an older sister. All the other 8 siblings are younger. I have a copy of John's handwritten (as well as transcribed will) and there is no mention of a James. There were 11 total children of John and Hannah.
