Bio and Links
Bio Photo Kudos to findagrave.com.

My bio is not about me, it's about findagrave.com and the family's that I've been touched by after each visit to findagrave. If you would look closely each memorial tells a story of love, marriage, births, wars, jobs, hobbies, and death. I.E. of life.

I've been doing genealogy research for some time now, and I find that findagrave has a wonderful group of staff and its members. Combined they have created a superior free resource for individuals researching their own family history, of which, I'm sure, has exceeded all of findagraves' original design expectation. This site is designed so well that it will get a lot of use and I can see a great future for findagrave.

Thank you so much for your contribution! I actually misspoke - Harold is my mother's uncle, not cousin. We appreciate the picture of him.

Hi, Rich.

Thank you for adding this picture of my mother's cousin. It is a very good picture of him.

Where on earth did you find it? We are just curious.

RE: Max McCrea Find A Grave Memorial# 59594005
Rich,
We are in the process of registering relatives in the WWII Memorial http://www.wwiimemorial.com/ and did not find Max there. Check Emma Pratt Find A Grave Memorial #127406550 to see a certificate.

I have photos of the 1935 McCrea reunion that have Max and Norman as children.

Max McCrea Find A Grave Memorial# 59594005
Rich,
I agree with your assessment of the value of Find A Grave and appreciate all you as a volunteer do for families. I really enjoyed seeing the Max McCrea memorial. Since photos and newspaper article are not attributed to someone else, I wonder if you are a family member? I am and have added photos to the Robert and Millberry McCrea memorials. I am related through Mamie McCrea Cooley.

RE: Gerd Muller
Of course! Familysearch.org has a lot of German baptismal records transcribed in English, which go back further than what we normally get on Ancestry. But there's nothing like digging through microfilms of original church records.

RE: Gerd Muller
I wouldn't really call it evidence, just a suggestion. I'm on Ancestry.com about every day and there are family trees that show that connection, but they don't have any documentation. So I would call this a "working hypothesis." Once every two years or so I travel to Salt Lake City to look at the LDS microfilms to try to document stuff in my tree. But I haven't tried to do original research on the Mullers yet and I have no documentation that the Johann Muller/Trin Rosenbrock thing is true at this point, I haven't gone over any microfilms for that part of Germany. It's only a lead. It's one that a lot of people believe, but it's hearsay and I don't have hard documentation. Maybe next August when I go to SLC I will focus on microfilms from that area.

RE: Gerd Muller
I have all of those Gerd Mullers in my tree. The one born in 1788 is my great grand uncle. His son, the Gerd Muler born in 1824 is my 1st cousin 4X removed. I believe, based on other people's trees, that the father of the 1788 Gerd Muller is Johann Muller, married to Trine Rosenbrock. If this is true, I am directly descended from Johann Muller and Trine. I would be descended through Catharina Muller, the sister of the Gerd Muller born in 1788.

Gerd is my 3rd great grand uncle. This is amazing to see his headstone. Are you related?

Mack Daniels
Thank you for your research and addition of Mack Daniels. His name was James McPherson Daniels, son of Harriet Morse Daniels and John C. Daniels, grandson of Nathan Daniels. He was born July 10,1867 in Shawnee, Allen, Ohio. His father is buried in Mt. Hope Cemetery, his mother in Red Bud Community Center and his grandfather in Star Valley Cemetery. I do appreciate the work you have done. He was one of mine!
