I posted him to St Andrews Cemetery and have been working with Angela to take photos. She has no record of him being buried there.

Would you happen to know how i can find more about my 5x gr-father: John Trarop? We believe he "volenteered" to join the Civil War, and he fought at Gettysburg & other important places. Ancestry.com doesn't list much on him & i did start a profile on Fold3.

Francis Magennis was a private in 1st Michigan Cor of Engineers and MechanicsCompany He was a stone mason and repaired bridges and buildings on Lookout Mt. Chattanoga TN battle.
He enlisted in the Ist MI Cor of Engineers and Mechanics company A in 1863
and mustered out at Nashville TN Sept. 22, 1865,
He was 44 and a half when he enlisted. This is in History of Calhoun co, MI page 206, and also in Record of Service of Michigan Volunteers in the Civil War. 1861-1865.
