Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi! My name is Bettie Anne Jones. I am a retired school librarian (43 years service) living in Pasadena, Texas. I was born in Teague, Freestone County, Texas, and grew up in Mexia, Limestone County, Texas. My parents were John Preston Jones and Ella Davis Dozier Jones. I enjoy reading and needlework, particularly counted cross stitch. Since I found this website, I have found the listings of a number of my relatives. I want to add many more with photos in the hope I will locate some their descendents.

Jesse London Jones
Bettie, You have a Find A Grave memorial for Jesse Jones with a date of death of 28 Mar 1918. Since he was in the 1920 census, if possibly the DOD 1928 or some other date.

Callie Jones
Memorial shows Callie only 4 years old when she died with 6 kids. Does someone have the correct date of death?

RE: James William Gore
Morning Bettie,
Sorry to say I have -no- personal knowledge of any death info
On James Gore. I was out there filling a couple is requests when I came across the Gore plot.
When I checked the area at the marker, the indication I got
Was an adult male being buried there.
However, it was during the latest rains and if there was a
void underground that filled with water, then a false reading
could be possible.
I'll do a little research and recheck the ground when it drys
out and if I can't prove my entry 100 % then I'll delete it.
Thanks for bringing the possible discrepancy to my
