I found Grandpa David /Jr
He is buried with Orlena Isenberg In Arkansas Ms. Shelton added the link to sams grave.I also have some info I would like to send you in pdf format that ties the alabama and ga cousins together all coming from robert it has some really good stuff including Roberts will.I am heading over to
rogersville next week to the library hopefully I can get a plot map for cedar grove cemetery. If I do I plan to put some grave markers up for the mallorys and kin there.there are also some Spitzers buried there.Coy the caretaker said there was only 3 members of the church left and one died
a week or so ago she was in the rogersville obits.I thought at first cedar grove was hickory cove church because of the similarities in people buried there but more research determined that a large portion of congregation from hickory cove church came there with the isenbergs and mallorys.anyway if you send me a email at I will send you a bunch of fam history I dug up on the mallorys and kin.

RE: William S Mallory
Sharon,I been diggin up bones so to speak over in cedar grove cemetery.the one in rogersville in hickory cove and i found a few relatives.Theres a sandstone headstone there with M.B. howe which I beleive is Margaret bell howe which was David mallorys wife marys sister they raised margarett when her mother elizabeth howe died.which was sometime around 1831 acording to church minutes I have from Hickory cove church.I also have census records showing david jr and matilda living with her in 1850.also theres john klepper mallory and sarah c isenberg who were davids brother and sister in law with infant son andrew mallory.Anyway elizabeth howe left david, mary and margarett 70 acres of land on devils knob acording to land deeds in rogersville,There is also a headstone for orvil thomas mallory son of D.O.mallory which Im pretty shure that is david jr and orlena isenberg his second wife. we decend from matilda presley which was his first wife and samuel houstons mallorys mom,I would love to find the church records for the graves in there I am about positive the missing robert and anna mallory, john mallory roberts 2nd cousin, david sr and mary howe mallory, david jr,maybe even matilda to they were all listed in hickory cove church minutes rolls along with several of the people in that graveyard its a treasure trove of mallorys and kin.I have a picture of margarets headstone if you would like to post it.I am planning another trip over there soon got to check out the 2 klepper cemetarys in hickory cove and devils nose anyway if you want that headstone pic email me and i'll send it.

William S Mallory
the "s" is sanford not samuel he was named after William sanford brown or Doc brown as known in the family.Dub was short for W.S.I am franklin his son but everybody calls me Lee.I have done extensive work on the mallory lineage and can help with any questions that might arise if you need my help feel free to ask. Also clifford and gladyss both died because a matress they were sleeping on in front of the fireplace caught fire and they never woke up.
