Duplicates: Sometimes it just happens. While never my intention to create a duplicate memorial, if you come across one I have made, let me know. Via the EDIT feature.

Special "Thank you" to everyone that takes the time to send edits, corrections or added information. There have been many times I accept the edit but failed to get the name. Just know your time is appreciated.
On the flip side, if you have taken the time to add a gravesite photo, please take an extra minute to send any additional information you see from the stone, e.g., full names or dates. Thanks!

Very kind of you to thank me. I've been helped by so many others! The courtesy is appreciated.

I added your paragraph.
Thanks, and have an awesome day,

Glad I could help. I really like what you have done with his memorial, the photos etc. It appears he was a true patriot, and unfortunate that I never met him.
I am usually very generous with transfers. My philosophy is that if you knew them and I didn't, then that's good enough for me

Hi Diane! Thanks for your gracious thanks to me. It turns out Norma & I are half 2nd cousins, both great-grandchildren of Christian Braun (1844-1893), she from his 1st wife, Barbara Mesner (1847-1872), & I from his 2nd wife, Anna Jahnke, (1845-1921). On October 1, 1872, Christian, sadly, was left with his full-time job as a wood-turner, a 2-year-old daughter, Barbara, a day-old baby boy, Christian, Jr., & a dead wife. Just 2 months later, Christian, Sr. married Anna, who very effectively rescued him & his family, & a year later, gave birth to my paternal grandmother, Emma Marie Braun (1873-1933). You can now see all the links on Find-a-Grave. As you can see there, my parents are buried at beautiful Kensico Cemetery in Westchester County, NY. You've been superbly helpful to me in tracking down Christian, Jr.'s descendants in Will County, IL! Hooray & Thanks! Sincerely, Dick B.

Dear Diane: Thanks for your gracious thank you notes & correction of my typing error. The wife of John Hanko, Jr. is a biological cousin of mine. My dad was born in Chicago, &, through his family there, we have lots & lots of cousins in Illinois, especially Will County. So I really went to town linking up these folks on find-a-grave. Your work on lots of the cemetery entries there has been HUGELY helpful!!! Thanks! Sincerely, Dick B.

Thanks for contacting me. I have added the obit and made the corrections. I was in AZ in late January and took many photos then. Lived in Surprise until 5 years ago and returned to CA.
Thank You for the Transfer of Victor. I wish some others were as understanding. Thank You Again.
