I greatly appreciate the information Find-A-Grave provides. I grew up in the Lizton-Pittsboro (Hendricks County, Indiana) area and am interested in the history of Union Township and Lizton and the families of that area. I am working on adding entries with relationship links and biographies/obituaries for the members of these families as one way to preserve some of Union Township's history through the lives of its citizens. This is a work in progress and everyone is encouraged to contribute by creating entries for those not already in FAG. Please look through my virtual cemeteries entries to learn more about the history of Union Township and its citizens. Feel free to send me suggestions for new virtual cemeteries and people to add to new and existing ones. This work is dedicated to the memory of the Union Township men who gave their lives in defense of their country and of Ruth (Leak) Hall and Roscoe Leak who did so much to preserve Union Township history.|

Thank you so much for the information on Elizabeth Hamilton Leach, her brother John Wesley Hamilton is my great grandfather. I know I have more photos of the family in Lizton. Hoping to come by this summer with my cousin. I'm sure I have family still living in the area. Is there a way to get the book the photos are from, though the one of Elizabeth Leach looks very familiar.

Hello and thank you. Yes, both of my parents have passed away, first my mother from cancer and 13 months later my dad from sheer loneliness. You will not find their graves as they were both cremated and brought to Spain. I have them buried with my maternal granmother in La Union, Spain were they married and wished to lay. My sisters were in agreement as they knew I lived close and could care for the grave. Thank you again and I will try to keep to date the information.

Hello, I have found the grave of my granmother Frieda May (Cross)Conn who passed away in 2010. Listed are only three of her children, my father Kenneth Richard Conn is missing. I realize it is hard to go through all the paper work to trace people and just wanted to let you know. I would also like to thank you for having include both of my granparents in your research.

You need to copy my birth date and death date to your Find A Grave first

I am a decedent of Ruben and Sarah Scott, and was interested in any further information like photos or letters. From what I have learned so far they were Quakers and settled in Lizton.
I noticed that you are searching for the grave of Adam Brubeck. I live in the Riverheads District of Augusta County and have a copy of the cemetery listing of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church from the book A Sesquicentennial History: Mount Tabor Lutheran Church 1839-1989. Adam Brubeck is listed in Row 5 Section 1 - Brubeck Addition beside Sarah M. Brubeck. There is a notation beside Adam's name that says no marker. I have walked thru this cemetery many times taking gravestone photos as I have many ancestors buried here. The book says Adam died Sep. 12, 1909, aged 78 yr.)
