I would like your memorial #154017769 merged with memorial #78305719. They are the same person. And one change to your memorial - his mother was Eliza Jane Gardner. He is my great-grandfather. Thank you.

|sara99||William Henry Lewis|
Hi, I've noticed that you seem to know many of the people in my husband's family. Wm. Henry is his grandfather. Are you related?

Thanks for the information on his military. I declined your edit request because it is not an exact stone transcription. The information was already in the bio but I updated the bio to include exactly what you sent.

Mystery solved. I hadn't thought about reinterment.
Harry was born in Connecticut, the son of Samuel D and Barbara E McKee. His siblings were Mabel Ruth, Flora B, Arthur K. The family first lived in CT, then Ohio, then Missouri. I believe Mabel is the same person who married and had a family in Nebraska. Haven't yet found proof of her parentage, nor graves for the parents. Samuel's mother Olive's will refers to him being in KC in 1915, but it may be that he and his wife ended up in in Iowa. Still looking!

Thanks for your message. I removed the photos from his memorial at Union Cemetery.
Have a great day! Travis

It does not show that Mary Etta Gross is the mother of Edith Opal Talbott. It shows she is her sibling.

Thank you so much for including the additional info on my great grandfather's page. What a historical cemetery this is and to find people like you to help document those resting there is indeed a pleasure.
