I am a retired businessman who enjoys genealogy as a hobby. I find that genealogy and "Find a grave" go hand in hand and its easy to do both at the same time and both are very rewarding.In adding Memorials for those in my family I have added memorials for many non-relatives in hope that it will help others as others have helped me. If I've submitted a relative of yours and you would like it transferred to you, just ask. I live in the Omaha metro area and thats where most of my photos were taken.Researching Bender, Ausdemore,Hittner, German,Ternus, Bockholt, Hatzenbuehler, Kramer, Wickelman and many others. Most of My family came from Germany in the Mid 1800s and settled in the North Eastern Nebraska German farming comunities and spread from there.In my research if I run across a grave of someone in the Military that is Killed in Action they get special attention and i try to find out as much as i can about them and put it on the Memorial. We owe it to these Heros and they should not be forgotten.I authorize anyone to use my photos for any reason."Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you." ~~~Princess Diana|

|Lindy Steen||grave location|
Here is the location of the grave for Raymond Vanderheiden: Pot F, row 8, grave 7. It will make it much easier for someone to fulfill your request.
|JGPerry||Lewis Jackson Photo|
Loren, I wanted to thank you publicly for your thorough and prompt help in figuring out that Lewis's photo was the wrong Lewis. I have a photo from his obit on it's way that I'll get posted. Thanks again for your special attention to our veterans.

Pretty straight forward locating the markers. There was an urn marker for Lt. Charles E. Barber between Celeste and Aldebert.

Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request but unfortunately, it is a photo of the area, only. Her grave is unmarked. I believe (from the number plugs on the ground) that her grave is located where the flowers are.
I am sorry this was not a more positive outcome. I am always disappointed when the grave is unmarked, and I had several like that today.
If you can call Holy Cross Cemetery @ (310)836-5500 for the grave location I will get the photo for you! Do not email because they will not reply. I would call for you but since I am probably the only regular active volunteer there I have made many many calls to them for locations and they are very annoyed with me. Please send it to my member page as I go 2 times a week. James

I found Martha J Campbell next to Clyde.

You are welcome for the photos. I did not take them, but a friend who lives in Tunisia took them for me so I could upload them, and others.
Glad to help,

Wow Loren, I couldn't find much of anything on these guys, and that is unusual. Only thing I saw was a reference to Stanley Kula which said he enlisted from Omaha, that is it. Thanks. Kevin.

Hi. I will see what I can find through the local museum. It has a good newspaper archive. JQ
