Hello Byron, I think we have 'talked' before. Thanks so much for the photo of Charles E Liller's marker at Hillcrest. It is greatly appreciated. If you happen to know the section or plot number, can you put in an edit suggestion to the manager of his page--Russ Pickett?

Thank you! That's neat that your father and Adm. Cruzen were good friends! I recorded the documentary made on Operation High Jump, off of TCM, last year, and have been watching it, over and over. It's amazing, what they accomplished! I all ready knew a lot about Adm. Byrd, from the time he was at USNA, but not Adm. Cruzen, so I looked him up, starting with the Lucky Bag, from 1920. Are you a Navy Junior? I'm a Marine Corps Junior. My dad always used that word, and didn't like the word "brat". I had heard it so rarely, though, that I started to wonder if my dad had made it up, until I started searching the Lucky Bags. It's quite common, from the first one, from the 1894, until they stopped putting individual bios of the first class, in them. Anyway, do you know anything about Mrs. Cruzen that I could add to her memorial? I'd love to find a picture, too, if possible.

I just created a memorial for Margaret Beaty Cruzen, the wife of VADM Richard H. Cruzen. I was wondering if you would mind posting the picture of their headstone, which you posted on Adm. Cruzen's page, there.

Just and fyi: I was looking for Durst people and came across what appears to be duplicate and some triplicate memorials. Those duplicate memorials are in cemeteries with different names, which your memorials are the 'original' ones in 2009. Some with a 3d memorial are also in a differently named cemetery.
