Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have lived in Massachusetts for all my life (so far), except for college - in Newton for about 20 years, and Newburyport for just over 40 years.

I am relatively new at taking gravestone pictures but I'm getting the hang of it.

I have a family tree on Ancestry.Com which led me to Find A Grave. It has helped locate relatives and a special moment was Feb 2011 when someone in New York added a memorial for my great great grandfather, Harlow Martin Purple. We didn't even know where he was laid to rest.

That has given me a new outlook on Find A Grave and is why I'm willing to do photo requests and have added many memorials for people I don't even know.

His obit states he died in Philadelphia, I just thought he could have been in the hospital there. Only way we know for positive is a death cert. I have had family die while visiting in other areas. If you don't want to use it, that is fine with me. Anita

RE: David Ingersoll
Hi, David Franklin Ingersoll goes back to the immigrating Ingersoll, Richard and George, back to the early 1600's. Somewhere in between our families meet :). David F, doesn't show up in my Family Tree yet. I want to thank you again for transferring the Herbert Ingersoll's to my care. I've made some connections and inserted dates and places. The terrible accident of Nancy Jean makes me wonder how the unfortunate father got through the horrible experience and the rest of his life with such a dreadful accident to haunt him. Very, very sad. Thanks for your generosity, Esther

I did put birth place first part of BIO and I gave you credit for it. I already knew that part but had not updated the memorial. Did you know that Amos, Eunice and Hannah were all moved to the current cemetery? Can not remember the name of first burial place. I noticed that the stones are tipped badly, we cleaned them up but you are correct, they need work. Anita

The land area of Great Nine Partners was thousands of acres. Without the actual land records how can we say he was born in a town that exists now, not then? At the time of his birth Great Nine Partners is about all any of us can be positive about. He is my 6th great grandfather. This last July, I was able to visit the area of Owego and his grave. They have him documented there in 1791 on an island of 100 acres, also on the land was William Bates in 1791. I believe William was his brother in law. Anita

RE: Abbie (Stanwood) Lane
Thank you, Bob.

Abbie is my great-grandmother's sister. I would appreciate it if you could transfer Abbie and Osborne to me, #47405223.

Many thanks for adding their memorials to F-A-G. I too enjoy adding memorials whether they are my family or not. Eventually, someone like yourself helps me find a relative that I was looking for.

RE: William and Hannah Luce photos
You are welcome. It was nice to get Hannah standing up next to William. I stood it up on Monday knowing it was going to rain Wednesday and hopefully clean it up. Went back Friday and got a decent picture. Hopefully after some more rain it will shine bright like Williams!

RE: Paul Vincent Purple photo
I was happy to do it Bob! (especially since I go by there at least once a week). It's a huge cemetery so I would not have attempted it if you hadn't provided the section number for Paul. ~Nancy
