Dear family and friends, |
I have ancestors in Clackamas Co., OR; (Gibson, Drake, Douglass; Palmateer, Tucker, Mayfield, Closner); Wasco Co., OR, (Mayfield, Ledford, Driver, Pratt, Palmateer); Washington Co.; Multnomah Co.; Clark Co.; WA; ND and MN (Humes, Thompson); IA (Scott), other countries, Switzerland and Scotland.
My Oregon ancestors have pioneered from the Barlow and Oregon Trail. I have been collecting genealogy for years. Enjoy helping others with their family lines.
My collection of obituaries are from my family, extended families, and others who should be remembered. Also on file are obituaries from families of the family book, East Goes West, by Alta Kraft. The descendant reunion is held every year from the book, East Goes West.
When time allows I like to add family photos to my blog. Sometimes I will add interests that I find amusing. Yes, some of these photos will be of cemeteries.
Hope this note finds you well,
Craig (Tucker) Humes

|Denis Thiessen||Transfer request|
Hi, could you please transfer the memorial # 104340019 for Henry "Hank" Hiebert, my uncle to me Denis Thiessen # 47630316. Thank you!
We would be related through Byron Harper Walker if you are a Walker descendant.

|Jeanne Kay-Linn||Taylor , James C|
Just did a bit more research and found a 1930 census in Denver, CO with a boarder with the right name and birthdate. But I didn't find a memorial for him in CO.
|Jeanne Kay-Linn||Taylor and Coffman|
I found Henry Amos Coffman's memorial but not Elizabeth Jean (went by Jean) Coffman's memorial. She just passed away a year or two ago.
Found Lynne E. Taylor (Jean's mother) but not James C. Taylor (her father). I know that in the 1940 census they were divorced. But couldn't find him in Oregon anyway.
Was doing this research to track down the Linn association but haven't seen any so far. Jeanne

Hello Craig, I am curious as to why you have a picture of my brother's gravestone. Did you know him? Also your bio says you have family in Oregon. Are we linked by blood?
Just so very curious, Dawn Teplick
|Tombstone Chaser||RE: Dalke|
Please do unlink your Arnold, as he isn't the right one. Thanks. I have linked the correct one to this family. Thanks so much - Bev
|Shirley M. Strickland||Pearl E. Counts|
Hi Craig, thank you for the transfer of Pearl to me. I will have her information on her memorial in a few days. Have to verify before I post.
Pearl and Jack, her first husband, had one daughter and as far as I can find, she did not have any other children. Pearl and Jack divorced.
My Strickland name is my husband's name. His family came from Georgia and I have not researched the beginning of them although I think that they were English.
If Frank is not a member of your family, I would be happy to add his information or I would be happy to send to you through the Edit tab.
Thanking you again for Pearl.
|Jan Fenter||Albert Nathan Haroun, 57857562|
I'm just letting you know that your memorial page for Albert Nathan Haroun, 57857562, with burial Unknown, created 29 August 2010, was duplicated. The duplicate memorial shows the burial location as Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon, and was Created by Erin, 6 April 2014, Memorial# 127542502. Both memorial pages were linked to his parents, so Albert shows up twice on their memorial pages.
|Jan Asher||Julius J Graves|
Multnomah Park Cemetery Thank you for starting the
site for Julius John Graves. I am his Great-Great Granddaughter who resides in Portland. I was unaware he and his wife Helen were buried in Portland until recently. I would appreciate having the site transferred to my care. Thank you I already have a contributor#.
|Martin Burrell||George J. Currin, FAG# 123459977|
I just sent you a written change request for his bio. Please, be very careful with it as it took many hours to get it to you.
Thanks for all your good work, Martin Burrell
