Bio and Links
Usually transfer requests are made within Find A Grave guidelines. I am related to most of my entries. I don't transfer relatives.

My grave marker photos may be used for your personal non-profit use, please give me credit. All other photos and biographies belong to me and my family, you need to get my permission to copy.

Most corrections and additions which includes biographies (I will give you credit) made if requested politely. I do need to check them out first. Note, different spellings and dates happen, mistakes are made on markers, obituaries and even death certificates. Read Find A Grave's rules on obituaries please. For corrections, links or additions please use the EDIT button, not the message board. I DO NOT do transfers or corrections via the message board or a person's memorial.

Though I certainly appreciate the mass contributors, family is family and an uncle or aunt may have been very close to you but not fall within the guidelines, please rethink the rules in this case.

Harriet "Haddie" Stephenson Barclay (90426017)
Hi Barbara,

Could you please let me know where you get the first name of Harriet from for my cousin? All documentation that I can find has her first name as Haddie.

Best regards,

Lloyd Holt Brown
Your bio states that you are related to most of the folks for whom you created memorials. Does this include Lloyd Holt Brown (98134777) who is buried in Aldine Cemetery in Aldine (Houston, Texas)? Are you aware that this cemetery has been destroyed? Do you by any chance have a photo of his grave marker? Fran (1959 graduate of Aldine High School)

Haddie Stephenson Clarke Barclay
I am searching for a descendant of Lloyd Beall Stephenson, father of Haddie (F-A-G Memorial# 90426017). I noticed your bio mentioned you are related to most of your memorials & am wondering if that was the case for Haddie?
I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks!

I would greatly appreciate where you got the middle name of Peyton for Sampson Moore. It certainly is Pridham (or possibly a slight spelling variation of Pridham (which is a Surname of a Ancestor)

Caney Fork Cemetery - Butler Co., KY
Hi Barbara,
While attending a wedding at Caney Fork Presbyterian Church in the Davis Crossroads community of Butler County, I gravitated to the smaller and older cemetery across the road from the church. The back of the Moses & Rachel Read stone indicates that they gave 2 acres of land to the "Caney Creek" Church in 1807 (which was in Logan County, as Butler was not formed until 1810).
1. Do you know where the original church (I presume also Presbyterian - as he was purportedly Scots) was located?
2. Was the original Church "Caney Creek," and if so, how & why was the name changed to Caney Fork?
3. Is there a differentiation between this original cemetery and the obviously "newer" one south of the current church? Your entry on Moses indicates his being interred in the "newer" cemetery, as the photo on his Findagrave entry is of the cemetery south of the church.

If you would, please contact me at or 270 779-5022.

RE: George Hedrick
I have a distant cousin that is buried in Polk County, Florida but he also has a memorial in Walton County, Florida were he was from. I also have a cousin that was killed a few years ago that his mother had him cremated and his ashes is to be buried with her. But his father had a memorial headstone placed in the his family plot. It is confusing when you are doing research on the family but for some reason they have two memorials. A lot of the solders are buried overseas or their body never located but the family has a headstone in the family plots.
Hope you understand that it is not unusual for people to have more than one memorial.
