Bio Photo I was never one to visit cemeteries until 1997 when my mom passed away suddenly. I would go and visit her grave but that was the only one I would visit. I was searching for information on headstones for my dad when I found Find A Grave. I went to the site and looked around and I was hooked. Been here every since. This is a wonderful site. I now go to cemeteries all over the state.

If you have the time could you stop by and leave my mom some flowers Thanks

Judith Hammond

Do you happen to remember if there was an individual headstone was evident for Martha Wright Moss? She is a slightly distant cousin.

Either way, thanks for posting the picture.

Steven Merrick
Hazel Ennis Merrick
Hello Velma. My name is Steven Merrick, son of Willard Bingham Merrick. I have been doing a bit of research into his family, specifically into his brother Samuel Olney Merrick that was Killed in a car wreck in 1939. My parents never really talked about him other than he was a hell raiser and was killed young, but today when I was doing some research I found an Arizona marriage record for 1937 to a Hazel Ennis, and this same person was mentioned as being in the 1939 car accident that killed my uncle. I am just wondering if that Hazel is your Hazel? I see she died in 1999 and if she is the same person, I will always be sad that I was unaware she existed so I could have met her. Anyway, thanks for your response!

Rebecca Frances Hughes
I'm wondering if there are any headstones in proximity to Rebecca Frances Hughes that might provide a clue as to whose child she was. All of the other Hugheses Find A Grave has recorded in Old Town Cemetery (although none have headstones) are ancestors of mine. I'm thinking she might have been Hiram Hughes' daughter.
Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. I hope to get to Crawfordsville someday to wander through the memories. John and Ruhamah Fullen Hughes, also in Old Town, were my 3x Great Grandparents and they had many children.
Thanks again,
Suzanne Hughes Creps

Hi Velma: I see you have left flowers for Ernest. I am actually looking for his wife, Irene. Would you happen to know her whereabouts? Thanks, Susan

Would you mind terribly deleting your memorial for James M. Hubble, my cousin has made a memorial to our grandfather.

Thank you.

Would you mind terribly, either merging your memorial with mine or deleting yours? I have made one for my grandmother since you created yours. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Thank you,

You linked up John P Case born in the 1794 with a Mary E (Aldred) Wildrige Find A Grave#24746900 who is but in Huntsville Cem Madison Co IN. I don't know if John Case was ever mar to anyone by that name but def not to this Mary Aldred Wildridge. She mar William Samuel Wildrige on Feb 27, 1873 in Douglas Co Illinois where her family moved to bef 1860 from Indiana. She was married only once to him not to anyone else. So please unlink him from her. I have had a couple of people inform me of this mistake. I would really appreciate it.

Thank you
