My granddaughter at the grave of her 2nd cousin whom she was named after.|
My sister, Nan Kelly, passed away 1-10-17. I have taken custody of her memorials. I will be glad to help with her memorials if I can.
It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.
Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

|Lance Burnett||transfer of record|
Good evening! Thank you for keeping up the Find a Grave records! I would like to request a transfer of Ethel Bain, record number 52933009, and James L Bain, record number 52933026. They are my wife's great-grandparents on her father's side.
|Kevin D. Evans||Freda Lorene Lewis headstone|
Good morning, My family discovered that our grandmother's headstone in Newlin, Texas cemetery which your team very nicely took a photo of was incorrect. We have replaced the headstone with a corrected headstone for Freda Lorene Lewis Gardner replacing the incorrect one. Our grandmother died relatively young at 50 years of age in 1968 and we never got to know her, but she isnít forgotten in our thoughts. Our thanks to the cemetery staff for all their assistance (and the flowers). r, Kevin D. Evans
|Nancy Yankie Sidarous||Robert Paul Whitten Transfer|
I want to extend sincere condolences for your loss --I've seen her name on work frequently and in many locations. I suppose you worked together. The loss of a sister and friend is so hard.
Thank you so very kindly for your hard work, and your generous and caring spirit in giving me this transfer. It means a lot to me. I hope others are as kind to you as I see that you are to others. Happy Trails, Nancy

Thanks so much Mary!! I appreciate your prompt reply; especially since the editor for the grave at FSH has closed his message delivery and is apparently no longer assisting with edits. I did find several military referrals to the FSH site so I think it is more likely the grave site.
I am always running across "new" to me Arnn folks; thanks for taking care of them.
|Walter Dunn||Mary Angeline Dorris Singleteary|
I appreciate the your help on up date ding.
Mary was married 2nd to J W Singleteary born abt 1819, he was a minister. I gather he is not buried next to her, I have not located to him. She was married first to Elias Atteberry who died in 1863 at the age of 33, Mary was 28. Elias was related to the Atteberry family in Amarillo. I am related to them. I will keep adding information.
