RE: Powell /Coffey
Hello Ava. Yes, Brida was my mother, and unfortunately, she passed away in 1989.
Mom and Dad used to talk about Minter quite often. I think he and my Dad became great friends. He was Lilly's second husband and Mom's stepfather, but I think he was the only father she really remembered.
There was a third sister named Lenora, who was a couple of years older than Mom who passed away in the early 70s.
I have some photos of Minter, along with Lilly and Mom & Dad and Beulah also. If you would like, I could send you copies.

Wright Genealogy
Hi Ava,

I am also from Illinois originally and am connected to the Wright family.

My GGGgrandfather was Silas Wright b. 8/30/1814 Rowan Co., N.C. His father and so on and on goes back like this: Richard-Daniel-James- Thomas-Lord John-Thomas-Robert-Sir John of Kelvedon-Sir & Rev. John-Sir Henry Wright.

If you are interested we could compare information.

RE: Wright /Leaverton
Hi Ava. Sorry, but it doesn't seem we have a Wright connection. Yes, I've done a Wright DNA test. And, yes, my Wrights were Quakers for several generations. But my Wright line went Lancaster Co, VA > Goochland Co, VA > Bedford Co, VA > Columbiana Co, OH > Highland Co, OH > Indiana > Florida. Best of luck with your research.
