Are you sure she is buried in Holy Cross?
I have found many memorials listed in the wrong cemetery. The burial card says "Calvary". There are many Calvary burials listed in Holy Cross

I placed an updated photo on his page; Any problem; let me know.

I hope you are doing well. I'm still around and doing trail work. I've visited the grave often in the last 20 some years. It's still in good shape and somebody local has been putting wreaths on the fence corners.
Writing up a version of the Lantz story again and trying to refresh my memory. I saw the picture of Thad Lantz you posted at ancestry. He appears as I remember him, although he is many years younger in the photo. He must have died not long after I met him at the Centerville cemetery. You are his son-in-law, correct? You were head of the Indianapolis Zoo when we were corresponding. Assuming you have long since retired from that, as I have from school teaching.
Did you ever come across a photo of Mary Lantz? I suppose not since I don't see one posted by you at ancestry.
I will send this to the email you have posted at Find A Grave, too, but I've found that often those emails here are out of date so posting same here.

I am a descendant of Thomas and Rebecca Stowell. The Tombstone says wife of Thomas Scott. Martha E Scott Haskell was his daughter born in 1842 my ancestor. His first wife's name was Sarah Manifold. Perhaps this is her grave?

I am interested in donating the large pension file connected with George L. H. Rice. Much information.
|Heather Stigen||Silas Jackson Jones|
I am wondering if you could correct some information on Silas Jackson Jones
his youngest daughter Effie was born in 1865 per the 1870 census.
I am tracking my ancestors and i believe that this Silas Jones is my ancestor.
Daughter Mary was born to another marriage as well as a son George.
thank you for all you do here!

You're welcome! Petersburg Cemetery is one of my favorite places to visit - very picturesque and peaceful. I have many family members buried there. I'll look forward to hearing from you!

I added a pic to your mem for Alta Hensley Jarrell. Her marker is right next to H. Clay and Lena Hensley (I added mems for both of them). BTW - there are 4 similar stones behind H. Clay and Lena's marker that may be their children? Alta's siblings? (Chester, Izora, Lurena and Mary E.). Do you know who the parents of H. Clay Hensley were? I am a descendant of Clifton Hensley thru his son William (his daughter, Frances, is my GGG Grandmother).

You seem to have done a lot of work at the Petersburg Cemetery in Petersburg, KY. I have many family members buried there (maybe we even share a Jarrell or two!). I was wondering if you have any idea where the burial records for this cemetery may be ? Or who the caretaker is?

May I use the photos that you contributed to the Find A Grave Memorial for Isaac Smith, to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.
