NOTE: As of April 2016, I've made it through surgery and chemotherapy, and have been cancer-free since August 2014. I'm very hopeful, and very appreciative of all the words of kindness and encouragement.|
As of August 2014, I'm dealing with my mother's recent death and my own recent cancer diagnosis. Please be patient with any suggestions / edits you send. Thanks in advance!
[PLEASE read (starting with para. 2) before contacting me about a memorial; it will save us both time and trouble. Thanks!]
I'm a history major and a lawyer (University of Virginia, Emory University;) a fanatic about live music (Todd Rundgren, Gene Owens, the blues;) and a photographer. I'm a wife and a mother (a son who recently graduated from law school at the University of Georgia and a daughter who recently graduated from Tulane.) I have a house full of rescued dogs and cats.
If I'm the caretaker of a memorial for someone who was closer to you than to me, I'll consider transferring that memorial to you; feel free to ask, but please include DETAILS as to your relationship to the deceased.
If you have additional information or links that you want added to a memorial, please send details and DO include links to your SOURCES: I'm unlikely to make additions/links if I can't verify their accuracy
All requests for transfers, all suggestions, and all corrections MUST be sent via the edit tab on the memorial in question. If you use the "Other" option you'll be able to send an explanation of, and links to, your sources for suggested changes to a memorial.
If you need to write me at my email address about something else (e.g., a suggestion or correction I've sent you,) PLEASE include a copy of any relevant correspondence and a link to the memorial(s) in question.
If I've posted a cemetery photograph that you want to use on Ancestry, please feel free to do so IF and ONLY IF you include the entire caption as the photograph description. You MUST get my express permission to use any of my photographs OTHER than those taken in cemeteries.

|Mary Jane||Agatha Hammer Hellerich 109815344|
If you check the probate record for John G. Hellerich you will find Theresa Hellerich was married to a William Thomas. There was no issue from this marriage. It also gives the other three Hellerich girls and their spouses plus Agatha Hellerich and Armand LeBlanc's three children. John, Elizabeth and Theresa Hellerich and Agatha Hammer all died intestate in New Orleans. Both Elizabeth and Theresa preceded their mother in death: Elizabeth in 1884 and Theresa in 1887. Agatha Hammer died in 1906. I hope this helps.

On Feb. 10 I used the Edit option to send some bio information to be added to his memorial. Did you receive it?
|Mary Jane Bradrick||RE: Asa V. Bradrick|
I wrote you some time ago about Asa V. Bradrick and have just recently discovered through Ancestry.com that yes, our Asa is in fact buried just where you have him. His parents are buried back here in Union County, Indiana.

Thanks for accepting my edits to link Delma #125609430 to her parents. I was wondering if you would consider transferring her memorial to me. Delma was the sister to my grandpa Zany Hutson. I appreciate all the info you have added and will make sure that I leave it and add our own info as well. I have added her son today, sad story that both her children were put in orphanage after her passing so young.

Ellen, thank you so much for all the Baker edits. Sidney Charles Baker is my dear Cousin's husband's father. The other's being his mother & siblings. They will both be thrilled with the info you have added. Bud

It is he is my grandfather and she is my grandfather, they share a plot...you have a picture of it, is that not proof enough??
Not sure what you need?
|denise m||Dicey Ann Norman wells|
Dicey Ann Normans parents were Joel Samuel Norman and Julia Ann Dukes. She was married to TN Wells only. She was born in 1861.
Moses Norman, Joels brother also had a daughter Dicie Ann Lucinda Norman who was born in 1861 but died in 1909. She is buried in a different cemetery alongside her husband James Gunn. I have documents to validate all of this.
Since the daughters names are so close on most census and even the marriage certificates the names were shortened and it caused confusion

I sent an edit, but thought I should tell you that I only found a obituary with the date. May be to soon for any thing else. Thanks,
Janis Webb Babb
Wishing you continued successes in the new year and a wonderful holiday season.
