For me, photographing cemeteries has evolved from an interest in genealogy, nature, and a quest for understanding life. I enjoy following the paths of my ancestors, searching for their final resting places. I also enjoy fulfilling photo requests. Finding graves brings a rush that makes the search worthwhile. Photo volunteer work is just a small way of contributing and giving something back to others. Cemeteries are by nature peaceful places, and I enjoy the peace I find while searching. Yet, my favorite cemeteries are those that are filled with activity, either relatives visiting their loved ones, joggers, or people walking their dogs.

Currently Pekin IL is home base (but I love to travel).

photo on wrong memorial
hello, greg. just wanted to let you know you placed a tombstone photo on memorial #84579130 -- it should go on his son's memorial instead.

thanks for all you do on findagrave!

Re: Kanne
Hi Greg,

Thanks for transferring Corella's memorial to me. I think George Hero Kanne and Roger George Vincent Kanne are the same person. In my research I found that Roger George Vincent Kanne was a Franciscan monk in Chicago, which I think explains the name change. I appreciate you pointing that out before the transfer, as I did not know about being unable to delete memorials after transfers. If you would transfer the photo from George Hero Kanne's memorial to Roger George Vincent Kanne, I'd appreciate it.

Re: Genevieve Lyon Anderson
I have sent you the biographical material via the "Edit" function on her memorial. Let me know if there are any problems with transmission. Thanks!

Tombstone Photograph for Charles and Beunah Benfield
Would you be so kind to post a copy of the tombstone photograph you took for Charles E Benfield

to his wife's Beunah Ann's memorial:

She just passed away on the 6th of August.

If I copy and move the photograph it gives credit to me for the photograph and I do not desire to take credit for your hard work.

Thank you in advance
