If I have entered a record for someone you know and they are not my own relative, I will gladly transfer them to your profile. To do so please use the Edit tab on the memorial to send a request under "Suggest any other correction or addition" and include your member number and relationship to the person memorialized. My guidelines for transfer are much more relaxed than findagrave's suggested guidelines, including friends, former classmates, etc. If you care about their memorial, I'm happy to transfer. And thank you very much to those who have transferred my relatives and friends to me.

If I've taken a photo of a cemetery section sign or of a gravesite you want to use for your own records or for another memorial with a shared headstone, please feel free to do so.

If you want or need to you can transfer memorials to account number 8 which is an account run by findagrave itself. If someone who wants to manage the memorial sees it's managed by findagrave account 8, they can transfer it to themselves by clicking Suggest Edits and accepting responsibility for the memorial.
