Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am mainly concentrating on entering the Kester surname in Findagrave. If I have entered anything in in error, please notify me and I will make a correction. For persons who leave a flower at one of the Kester memorials, thank you.

If you are a Kester or would like to contribute to the planetKESTER.com website, I currently am looking for verifiable photos and documents. NOTE: Website is currently down for maintenance/updates..online again 1st Qtr 2017.

Kester memorials that I request to be transferred to me usually have been or are under research by myself. Most Kester surnames are 2nd or 3rd cousins that I probably have additional information, dates, photos, that I would like to post to help other genealogists with their research, as well as make FindaGrave the best website of this type it can be.

I thank those who have posted memorials and graciously transferred them to me. I am currently trying to update family links and complete small bios.

Thank you for photo for ...

Thanks for digging out the dates !

I've requested date edits and a name change edit.

It's a mystery to me as to why a photographer posts a photo that can't be read. Dates and spellings are very important.

Thanks for the extra effort !!

RE: Connection.
Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch. I am from Indiana. Albert Crawford Dowell, one of my 3rd cousins 3X removed, married Martha "Rose" Kester. Are you one of their descendants?

RE: Gignoux photos
I went back and confirm that all of the Gignoux names are from the 19th century, and none recent. I took photos of the headstones which I can post later to the names in F-A-G.

RE: Gignoux photos
Click on the bottom picture to enlarge it. On the bottom of the headstone in the forefront, there's a faded inscription that says Annette Gignoux (wife of Arthur Berault de Saint Maurici - if I'm reading it right). You will also see some notes on others buried there.

I went into the online Green-Wood database but couldn't find a reference to the Berault name (I tried several combinations).

The other two similar headstones are hard to read, and therefore much older that the 1955 grave you are looking for (I will go back to Greenwood in about 2 weeks and take another look).

I can only recommend that you contact Green-Wood directly at http://www.green-wood.com/2013/green-ealogy/, and they will pull the records. The website indicates the fees.

I'll will get back to you one way or the other when I more closely examine the three headstones in question.

Mary A Kester/Drumheller
There's a lot written on the back of Mary A Drumheller's stone. I didn't have time to look at it too closely. I am uploading pics and if you need full resolution, let me know
