Hi Pat, we have visited online before, but i have a question for you. The Hix families are they also known as Hicks? It seems the Bays and Hicks families are interrelated many times. My grandfather, Arch Bays told me when I was young, he had an uncle (he thought by marriage) that they called "Uncle Cap". Are the Cape's pronunciation Cap? Thx, Teresa

Pat, I just tried to send you an email with some obits attached, and my email has been acting up lately. I'm not sure if it went or not - if you don't get it, let me know and I'll try again.

Pat, what a wonderful message to find! Thank you so much. I've really enjoyed making all the pictures and finding the old obits and trying to figure out the relationships of the people that are buried here. I've lived here all my life and so have my parents who are in their 80's, so trying to record as much information as we know, and then add what I can find on the internet, most of which is correct I hope. If not, I hope someone will let me know!
I'll add your family to my list and see if I can find some more obits the next time I go to the library, then I'll transfer them to you so you can add whatever you'd like. Our newspaper is on microfilm in our library and I'm really enjoying sharing this information that I have access to.
I usually go to the library at least once or twice a week but with Christmas coming up and I've only just started my shopping tonite (online), I'll probably be too busy to go until after the holidays, but I'll get back with you.
Again, thanks so much for your encouraging words!
Happy holidays to you :)
