I have been documenting my family history since 1991 when my Great-Aunt Tillie Perner started me with a 4-page listing. That has now been expanded to several thousand names.|
My interests include relatives in the Texas Hill Country with the German Texan surnames Ackermann, Albrecht, Beck, Behrens, Betz, Bickel, Brieger, Bueche, Eckart/Eckard, Fey, Friesenhahn, Gombert, Hilbert, Kaderli, Kneupper/Kneuper, Kortlang, Mueller, Reininger, Scheel, Schubert, Schumann, Schwab, Stahman, Stichler, Uecker, and Wenzel. My mother's side is Bueche and my father's side is, of course, Brieger.
I live in Colleyville, Texas and can handle photo requests for the Colleyville and Grapevine area. Including the section name for the large cemeteries helps immensely.
It would be really great if Find A Grave provided icons that you could attach a birth certificate, marriage license, or death certificate to. However, since they don't, I ask that certificates not be added to a memorial. However, feel free to email me copies of these for my collection. I'll add any pertinent information from the certificates to the memorial.
My photos are free to anyone who wants to copy them for non-profit purposes, no need to ask. Just credit me for the photo.
I always appreciate links to parents and spouses that I am missing. Use the Edit/Suggest a Correction tab.

First, I would like to thank you for creating the memorial for my maternal grandmother. It is highly appreciated. Secondly, I am requesting a transfer of this memorial to me, please.
Her memorial is # 83432687. My Find A Grave is (#49303251).

Thank you for maintaining the memorial for my father. Would you mind transferring it to me?
Are you a relation to Louis R. Eckert of Harris, Texas? He was an in-law of my mother's.

I hail from the Beck side of the family (Ron Beck, Farrel Beck Jr, Farrel Beck Sr, Emil Beck, August Beck, Franz Beck). I'm always so grateful to come across family, like yourself, who also take an interest in genealogy and the preservation of family history. Thank you for all you do to keep our ancestors' memory alive for future generations to come.

John I am really confused. I have asked that you moved many memorials from Fayetteville City to Fayetteville Catholic and these have not been done. The duplicates that you have made you have deleted. Is there a problem moving the memorial in the wrong cemetery? I have a listing from the City and have worked these two cemeteries extensively. We are trying to get the census of Fayetteville City Cemetery correct and would appreciate your help in moving/deleting incorrectly placed memorials. Please let me know if there is any way that I can help you. Thanks.
