Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Randi and I am currently researching mine and my husbands family trees. I live in Clinton, SC but I frequently visit Meadville, PA so if there is any gravesites in those areas that you are looking for let me know and I'll do my best!! Family lines I am looking for: Peterson, Bowersox, Slingluff, Heffern(an), Guenther, Butcher, Laver, Spencer, Swartzfager, Busby, McGinty, Zeigler, Bossard, Gushard, Guenther, Pruskowski, Boyce, Flaugh and many more! This is the memorial for my father Ken Bowersox who was my "grave roaming buddy." I would love for you to just take a moment to visit and leave a flower if you would like since he helped me with so many of the memorials I have added/photographed on here. A big thanks to all of those who volunteer on Find A Grave who have done a wonderful job in helping preserve our heritage and making this a wonderful site.Happy to do a transfer if it meets the guidelines set by Find a Grave. I really suggest using Virtual Cemeteries for further out relatives (beyond parents, grandparents and siblings)which is what I do and have made a few connections in doing so. Let me know your connection with your request, See Help with Find a Grave for more info on who I am willing to transfer http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=listFaqs#79

James Harvey Sharrar Find A Grave Memorial# 51079727
Sir
I believe that there is an error with the listed parents of James Harvey Sharrar. He is listed in the Sunset Hill Memorial Park, Cranberry, Venango County, Pennsylvania, USA. Find A Grave Memorial# 51079727.
Please view the following obituaries of his children from local newspapers:

https://www.newspapers.com/clip/10997066/james_harvey_elder_sharrar/

https://www.newspapers.com/clip/10996891/robert_clair_elder_sharrar/

Also I refer you to "Detrich - Sharrar" Genealogies By Margaret Segui Kahle of May 1971 page 10 - 13 that is a physical page county as the pages are not numbered.
I am a relative doing our family genealogy. Thank You for your efforts in making so much information available.
Mike Weller

I beleive the parents should be listed as Ebennezer Davis Sharrar 1855-1928
Lollian Leona Elder 1865-1932

Pheasant surname
Hi, I've been looking for a Sarah Pheasant for years and I seen that a Cheri Edwards posted a flower to a memorial to a Zachariah Pheasant, then seen you commented under her page about a pheasant family as well! I don't know much at all, but all I do know is that she married George Myers and that he was from Newark, Ohio and that they had a child named William H Myers 1859-1932. I have no idea when George or Sarah was born, married, death- nothing. I only got their names from searching. One site gave me her maiden name of Pheasant then I came across Williams death certificate that verified George and Sarah's names for me. It said Sarah was born in Ohio with no city listed but listed Newark, Ohio for George.

Lydia Spencer
Hello

I am conducting research for a descendant of Alexander Spencer.

I am trying to pin down the fact that Lyman Spencer was the husband of Lydia Spencer and that they were the parents of Alexander and Phinehas.

Could you tell me where you obtained the information on Lydia's findagrave website?

Thank you,
Gayle

Thank you so much for the photo, but it has led me to discover I made a dupe. Her stone has her first married name, Henry, and she already had a memorial. So....I have to delete it, which I will do as soon as the information is transferred.

So...you cleaned up a dupe, that's a good thing.

Thanks,
Anna

RE: Flora
Hi Randi...not at all related...doing some research on Harvey Griffin for his great grandson, Arthur: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Griffin-5044 A friend of my mother in law who we ran into at the Ernie Hall Museum on North River Road, Howland this past Sunday...just digging around for him. Do you have info on Harvey? I have him as Almon and Hannah Lemmons Griffin's son, but still working on that. I did find where Flora married Joseph just a few minutes ago.

Can you tell me...how do you deal with duplicate memorial pages...I've been on Find A Grave for awhile, but am still a newbie...just mainly connecting family members as I find them. I did hook Flora into her mom/dad's memorial via edit, as well as her duplicate over in Brookfield (where I live).

I don't see that Flora had any children, do you? Anyways, thank you for all of your contributions to FINDAGRAVE...it is an invaluable resource for genealogists.
