RE: Austin Piety
Mary and Polly were two names for the same woman, and she was Austin's first wife. This is according to a friend who is a descendant of Austin and Mary Polly. I've been trying to help her find out what happened to Austin, and exactly when he died. The last census she has for him is 1860, when he is living in Louisiana with his two daughters, but he may have lived longer.

Austin Piety
ISO info on Narcissa's father Austin Piety, b 1793, KY, son of Thomas Piety and Mary Duncan. Trying to find out exactly when he passed away, and where, also records of marriages/divorces? He left his first wife Mary Polly Miller and children behind in Indiana after 1830 or 1840; married Ester F. Douglas in 1844 in Louisiana; children Narcissa and Priscilla.

Terry Poe and Mary Riddle
Hi Bill,

I am researching the Poe family because my daughter in law is a descendant of Grant Poe. Do you have any info you can share on his mother Mary Poe or his grandmother Marry Riddle?
Thanks so much for your help!

RE: Myrtle Hand
No I am not related to The Worth, Hand or any of these Families, just trying to do "good Deeds" for others. Shorten the marriage data etc as she was married 4 times.

As you are related Do what you think is best.

RE: Louisa Brooks
In cases like these I've decided to just inform the parties involved that a situation exists. What they do with the information after that is up to them. Saves getting into the middle of things it's sometimes best not to be in the middle of.

In this particular case, though, since you're taking the care to message me back about getting it right, I'll pay a little extra attention to getting Mrs. Brooks's information correct. I'll send links and other updates to both of you so that, as you say, when and if the other person gets around to making the changes you can take care of yours.

Regards,
Doc

RE: Louisa Brooks
Yes, they are the same person. Apparently Linda Albright, who created the page for Hannah L Brooks (59294902), didn't look closely enough at the grave stone photo she took -- the years pretty clearly end in 8's, not 3's. I sent her an edit concerning that, but she hasn't processed it yet.

Hello - it looks like two of the same (death certificate) images were added to the memorial of Sarah J. Stone Talmage. Can you please delete one of them?

Thanks In Advance

Thank you very much for posting the death certificate. I have taken information from that to post to his memorial.

Oops--John Worth
I have posted a photo of the plot where John Worth is buried. It is confirmed to be an unmarked grave.

Blessings,
Linda
