RE: Emma Grace Morgan Truitt
I would love to be back in TX, in my old house. Thank you for the Truitt info, I was on the right track and will link everyone.
When I got on cemetery preservation sites trying to find the best way to read illegible markers, they discourage the use of chalk because it wears down the surface, like sandpaper. I have tried tracing paper, wrapping paper, tin foil, reflector, none of them work very well. They said dusting it with flour or other thing like that is bad because it gets in the crevices and when it rains, it expands and weakens the marker. When if it freezes, it expands whatever has been put on it and causes damage. I have found the time of day and time of year make a huge difference in legibility. Of course, a nice sunny day helps the most!

Thank You! I was trying to link Howard with his family and wasn't sure I was on the right track! Howard and his wife were friends with my grandparents. I used to live at Jones Road and FM 1960!!!

According to Find A Grave rules, the first entry is the one that remains unless the second entry is a direct ancestor. So, please delete yours. If you have information that you want added, just let me know and I will do it for you. Hope this helps! Best regards, Ann
