Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a Property Manager and currently manage 2 apartment complexes. I have been interested in my family history even as a child. Always asking questions. I have been recording info for about 29 years, but not as often as I'd like ("life happens"). I have been married 28 years and have 2 beautiful, successful daughters, 24 and 21 years old. I have quite a collection of family photos and gravesite photos and am excited about this website.

I am originally from Georgia (deep roots) and am researching the following surnames: Atkinson, Hughes, Morgan, Pruitt, Cates, Dutton, Lester, Hammond, Garner, Davis, Wise, Wynn, Winn, Brand, Bradberry, Nelms, Fountain, Brannon, Willis

Pvt Jesse A Atkinson #137875983
Hi Tammy

I noticed that you had created the cemetery where William E and Martha Atkinson are buried so I wanted to let you know that I have created the memorial for Pvt Jesse A Atkinson and linked him to his parents. He died of disease in Winchester Confederate Hospital while serving in the 16th Georgia Volunteer Infantry. His grave is not marked at the Winchester Confederate Cemetery but I assume he is interred there along with all the other unknowns.

While I was at it, I also linked Pvt George W Atkinson He died in a Richmond, Va Confederate Hospital and was buried in Hollywood Cemetery. He has a VA marker which looks fairly recent.

Please take a look at both memorials and feel free to submit corrections/additions. I did not create the one for George W, but Scott Hutchinson who created it, is usually willing to accept input especially coming from descendants. Thanks so much!

John Morgan
Dear Tammy
I found the gravesite of John Morgan, the Father of James Morgan and Mrs Cornelia Doss (Isaac). The tracking number was added to the parents section of Mr Morgan's Daughter.

RE: Isaac & Cornelia Doss
I wanted to leave a message I added Frances Morgan's tracking number to her daughter's biography. I have seen the picture of Mrs Morgan I believe it is a group photo with relatives. Does John Morgan have a gravesite?

Isaac & Cornelia Doss
Thank you for posting the two photo's of my Great Great Grandparents Isaac & Cornelia Doss.
The Shelnutt family was home with the flu when Doss's Daughter Rebecca passed away. Rebecca's Father was the informat of her death certificate.
