Since retirement, I have had lots of time to work on genealogy for my family and my husband's family. I enjoy visiting cemeteries and recording the burials to help others find their relatives.|
When requesting a transfer, please tell me how you are related to the individual. I'm not a stickler for the 4 generation rule, but I do like to know your connection to the person.
PLEASE DO NOT ADD DEATH CERTIFICATES TO MY MEMORIALS. There are family members who do not wish to have death certificates displayed. If you need a death cert, there are several places to look them up.

Thank you very much for adding the bio. I appreciate your quick response.
Thank you so much for transferring Edna R. Clay's memorial to me, Elsie Clay. I can wait to get to the Hillsboro Cemetery to visit the grave. It sounds lovely. Thanks again.

Would you please consider transferring the memorial of Edna R. Clay, #15653784, to me, Elsie Clay, 47489638. She is the grand aunt of my husband, Robert Mitchel Clay, #170670853? Thanks.

Bart's page was transferred to me after Norida's death. I think I gleaned info from his death certificate and census records. This was not a published obit.
|Sandy||RE: Hedrick family|
Yes she is showing up, thank you very much and Merry Christmas to you too!!

Please remove this listing for Arthur Halbrooks, it is a duplicate to one that was posted in 2008, 2 years prior to your posting. I am on the board for this cemetery and removing this would help keep the inventory more accurate.
Thanks for all you do to contribute

I have some information on SEALE family--
Thanks for the exact marriage date of Daniel and Sarah. The following is what I have on this SEALE family.
Daniel Boone Seale b. 1807 d. ca. 1866.
He married Sarah Phillips in Hinds Co. Mississippi about 1830/31. The children I have listed for this couple are:
Ellender Jane SEALE (1831-1897) married ? Goode; *Benjamin Franklin SEALE (1834-1879); Joshua SEALE (1838-?) ; Lydia Ann SEALE (1836-1926) m1 ? SMITH, m2 ? FROST; Elias Phillip(s) SEALE (1845-1924); Susan SEALE (1840-?) m. ? Jeter; William Ham SEALE (1848-1925) ; Clarenda SEALE (1848-1919) m. ? Morgan; ; Mary E. "Molly" SEALE (1851-1931) m. DeWeese; and Emily SEALE ( ?- 1865)
Sarah and Daniel were buried at Hog Eye Cemetery outside of Bastrop Cemetery (County) which,as of date of research, was no longer visible. They moved west to Bastrop TX to avoid Civil War fever; they later died of Malaria or some other fever in Texas at that time.
I have more however, I am not at my home location and can not give you any exact details. My cousin, who lives in Pasedena TX, spent 20 plus years researching the SEALE families.
Our grandmother, Emma Elizabeth SEALE (1877 -1955) m. Will Kurtz STEGER 1898 Hunt Co., Quinlan, TX. Emma was the youngest child of *Benjamin Franklin SEALE and Martha Margaret BARROW(E). Grandaddy Will and Mama Steger had 4 children: Raymond Leon (1899-1973), Oma Madge (1901-1901), Mary Ethel (1905-1983) and Paul Kurtz (1910-1953).
Raymond, my maternal grandfather, married Ruby Ann STALLINGS (1905-1984) on 22 May 1924 in Snyder TX. They lived in Dexter, Chaves Co., NM and Quinlan, TX. They had two daughters M.A. (1924- living) and *Emma Doris (1929-1979) Papa and Nannie Steger divorced 1942. Papa remarried twice (??), no other children; Nannie remarried (J.E. PRICHARD of Elida, NM) March 1943, no other children. My aunt Margie m. 1941 to Wm L. WITT (1941-1996) they had two children W.L b. 1942; S.A. b. 1948 Both are living. W.L. m. 1961 and has 4 children; he lives in TX. SA never married and has no children. she lives in NM.
My mother, Emma Doris STEGER, m1 D.D. WOLFGANG (living) 1948 div 1950; m2 P.J. PAINTER (living) 1951... She is buried South Park Cemetery, Roswell, Chaves Co., NM.
She had two daughters: both living F1 b. 1949; F2 b. 1951. Both reside in NM.
I am the child of Doris and WOLFGANG. I was born 1949 in Sterling Arenac Co., MI and grew up in NM. I have lived in ME, NC, TX, Il, AZ, CA and NM. I married L.G. LOY 11 Nov 1966 Chaves County, NM. We have two children: Kevin (1970-) and Kristin (1973-). Kevin is married and has one son, Cory, (1994) they live in NM. Kristin is married and has one son , Fennon (2000) they live in CO.
It seems to me that if you are related to Daniel and Sarah SEALE, we are distant cousins. I would be interested in sharing information with you and other SEALE family. Please e-mail me at DixLeeL@myfamily.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.

If you are not related to W. Aretes Welch, then I would greatly appreciate the transfer to #46832186
I emailed you to notify you that a group of us have found this stone in Janes Cemetery, Ravenden Springs, Randolph County, Arkansas. It has been a big project to identify. It took us over 2 weeks to make out enough letters to identify the stones engraved name!

A biography and an interesting document have been added to the memorial for this Confederate physician. As you can see, I am confused by the
bronze marker on his grave.
