Feel free to use any of my photos in any way that you wish, especially the older ones. My only purpose in posting them is to share them with those who want them and to help preserve them for posterity, just as many of these were gifts which others (long dead, for the most) once shared so generously with me. History is not for hoarding or profit but for preserving and passing on.|
Attribution is not expected. With that said, however, the serious researcher/historian records the source for photos and rare documents. So while I don't need to be acknowledged or "thanked," I have tried (not always successfully) to list where most of my photos came from. If I have posted one that came from you, please let me know, or remind me, or suggest proper attribution.
Lastly, all of my memorials are works in progress, so I'm continually tinkering with them, researching, editing or expanding them. Additions, comments, corrections, criticisms and suggestions are welcome and always considered.

|Terri Sitton||Thank you|
I just wanted to thank you for all the work you have done to record history. I have just recently become "seriously" interested in researching my history. I was never interested in history while in grade school or college; but now that I am older, I am fascinated by my roots. Thank you for all the information and photos that you have shared with all of us.
Like you, I am always tinkering with research and crossed paths with one of your memorials, and wondered if Ray was your first or last name. That being said, I enjoyed your bio immensely and may reshape my own bio to be a little more like yours. Thanks for all that you do,

|John Simmons||RE: photo of Sara Jane Yarbourgh|
Ray was that Knoxville, Tennessee or Knoxville, Georgia?
|John Simmons||photo of Sara Jane Yarbourgh|
Hello, I would like to know where you found the photo posted on this lady in Roxana Cemetery in Lee County, Alabama. Sara Jane was my ancestor's sister. Can you provide any additional information about the photo? Are the men and women her sons and daughters? Thanks John
|Nancy Cornelius||Gordon Provence|

|Brandon Masters||Masters Family|
I noticed you have done a good bit of work on the Masters Family graves. I was wondering if you have done any with the Masters of Harpersville, Vincent, and St. Clair County. There is a Masters family cemetery in Harpersville, Al it's in ruins but still something to hold onto.

|Samantha Johnson||Old Dutch Cemetary|
Hello Ray, I am trying to get some information on the old Dutch cemetery. It states that it is located in Wilkes county north Carolina, right across from Antioch church (where my family is buried). It shows up as only being 2 miles from my home location. But I cant seem to find it to fulfill photo requests. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
ray, i just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all your hard work over the years for all of the rest of us who can`t travel to all the places. you`ve let us see places we can never visit. i`m sure our ancestors are looking down saying "thank god for ray telling our story accurately for the rest of them".

You requested a photo for this person in the Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, MO, in 2014. Her name is actually Laura Bessie Hutson. Maybe if you mention that in the photo request someone will find her. Thanks.
