Bio and Links
Bio Photo Taphophilia: a passion for and enjoyment of cemeteries.

I have photo-documented Sts. Peter & Paul and New Mount Sinai Cemeteries in St. Louis. If you are aware of errors in any of my entries, please let me know. PLEASE USE THE "EDIT" LINKS AND PROVIDE YOUR MEMBER NUMBER (located next to your name on your member page) if requesting a transfer.

PLEASE NOTE: Because I receive a lot of email, I typically do not reply when sent an edit - just check back in a couple days and you should see it. I usually make edits within a couple days. If it has been over a week, please resend as I may not have received it.

HOWEVER, if you send me an edit that includes a question, please make sure your email address is available on your page, so I can respond.

Please don't add death certificates that are readily available on-line to memorials.

In addition to adding my family, I enter other graves. I am always happy to transfer a grave to a family member, or to update the grave as requested.

Families I am researching for my family include Mueth, Heidenfelder, Bockius, Buehler, Danneman, Frank/Franck, Freymyer, Meurer and Zieger--primarily found in the U.S. in St. Louis and Southern Illinois.

My husband's last name is Torrence. For him I am researching Torrence, Findley, Watt, Comstock, Peterson, Norton, Brown, Bieth, Sentman, Ritchie and Sixbury--from all over the Northeast.

Please ask permission before posting my personal family photographs or biographical material I have written from my memorial pages on this site to or any other website or personal webpages.

Lately I have received messages asking for additional information on a memorial I have added. I am happy to help, but if you do not provide an email address or have your messages turned off, there is no way for me to respond.

Oscar Reznicek
In Sst. Peter and Paul, Oscar Reznicek is not the son of William and Caroline Reznicek. Oscar born in 1911 is the son of Charles Reznicek and Tillie Berghotlz. The headstone for the four of them are father and son and wives. Oscar who is the son of William and Caroline Reznicek was born in 1888, and is buried in Wilbur Park Cemetery.

Hi Katie,

I created this memorial in 2015 and it show a photo was added in 2011. Believe this is a mistake. Walnut Hill Cemetery doesn't have row markers like what is shown. Can you please check this out for me. I don't think this photo belongs here. And the dates have me very confused - me thinks something is off with Find A Grave - you can't add a photo before a memorial is create. Thanks for any help.

Take care,
Barb T.

I had the wrong number for Vance's father. I tried twice to edit it on the site but it didn't take. Correct father info is Leroy Asa Shield #26705309.

His mother's name could not be entered because there is no findagrave # ?? I don't know where she was buried.

Sorry. Thank you
