Bio

My wife and I have been and are still researching our family lines... Chamberlain, Riley, Correll, Keller, Kennedy (Rev. War),Penn (Rev. War), Stout (Rev. War), Van Der Cook (Rev. War), Van Der Hoff (Rev. War), Van Ness (Rev. War), Selby (Rev. War), Jones, Webb (Rev. War) and Mayfield (Rev. War). If you have a connection to any of these lines, contact us. If you find anything (names or dates) that needs correcting...please let us know. If you are a family member who is related to any one we have posted on Find A Grave and want it transferred (within FAG guidelines) to you let us know.

Visit the memorials for two of our Revolutionary War ancestors, John Kennedy (Memorial #46198972) who died of starvation on the British prison ship Jersey and his wife Esther (Stilly) Kennedy (Memorial #46367326) who is listed by both the DAR and SAR as a Rev. War Patriot for furnishing provisions to the Continental Army.

Since then our families have fought and sometimes died in every war up to Iraq (with the exception of the Spanish American War).

The photo was taken during October 2009 at a grave marking of Rev. War soldier Reuben Ross who is buried in Waverly located in central Illinois.
