Bio and Links
Bio Photo There seems to be a FLAW in the way the new edits are being done, spouses are coming up in bright RED UNKNOWN, when in FACT it is RIGHT, I have had this happen when I send edits also, hopefully this can be fixed. I have been saving the spouse # and re-adding it after the edit is done.

PLEASE use the EDIT to ask for transfers, with your ID # and the PHOTO REQUEST if you want a photo of the stone for EACH person listed. I try to get other family near the one requested in case they are not already listed, but if they are already listed it is nice if you also request them. I print off the requests from the computer, and the "notes" don't show if you ask for other family members. If there are a lot of requests only the ones listed might be taken when it's a quick stop. You have my permission to use my photos of the stones for your family records.

It is my wish that everyone is remembered, this is my way of helping make it happen. We all will make mistakes, I'm happy to make changes and transfer loved ones always hoping that you can add to their memorials. I just want to help, when I find more information and send an edit, it is sad when that isn't added. I am so thankful for the ones that put family of ours on, some we had no idea where were, so you can see what a blessing Find A Grave has been.

I know it's important to have "facts", some think an official document such as birth, marriage or death certificate is correct. Sadly that is NOT always correct. There will always be conflicting information. Don't get upset when there is an error, just do your best to try to have it corrected, when there is another source, add the information in a note for one or the other. Try to always be nice, this site is great to help find our roots and follow all the branches. :) Genealogy = Confusing the dead and annoying the living.-by Unknown Author. I'm sure I "annoy" quite a few. I use ~ to mean not just now, but always~

I found the marker at Westlawn. Their Son, Raymond W. is next to them.

It means I was unable to find a 3x5 card with their name on it. Yes, they have all the burials on 3x5 cards. And there are many cards that were not replaced in the proper order so even if I couldn't find a card it doesn't mean there isn't one. ( Word is they will soon type in each card into a computer. ) I plan on making a list of all the names. When they have their stuff on a computer I will be able to look again to see if anything has changed.

Re: The Abbott Children
Thank you for allowing me to use your photos for our Wellman Family Tree. My husband's great grandmother was an Abbott and was married the a Wellman. I hope it is alright to use your memorial pages that you have created also.

RE: Mary Druly Bonine
Hello Luella

Thanks for your note - this is part of a new program at the genealogy site www.wikitree.com where they are comparing all wikitree ancestor profiles against their homologues on Find A Grave - As Mary is a distant cousin (my mother's maiden name was Bonine) they sent me 45 profiles where the Find A Grave information about birth or death somehow differs from what we have on WikiTree. So I am checking them all and where I believe the WikiTree data is better, I am notifying the F.A.G. managers so we can reconcile the data (of course there are some cases that are too inconclusive or genealogies differ.... that's a different story!). Still, it's a good program and attempt to reconcile basic "data" between sites for the same ancestors. I will see if I can find anything more out about Mary and send it to you if I do. Here is her WikiTree profile -

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Druley-6

Feel free to copy & add anything to your F A G memorial.

Best wishes

Gere
The following is the Find A Grave memorial that someone created for John Nelson Gere. I'm sure you have already looked at this memorial.

https://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=82468516

According to the Hawaii State Death Index, a small portion of which is located in the Hawaii State Library, John N. Gere died in Honolulu on May 21, 1928. Registered No. 3981, Vol 139, is the reference for this particular entry. The index does not have any further details.

Now that I know exactly when he died, I'll sked some time to get over to the library and see if I can find the obit in a local newspaper.

Thanks for the additional article ref Giles Gere. I'll probably add it to the memorial in the next day or so.

Take care. David.
