|Genealogy overtook my life in 1995 and continues to be my most enjoyable pastime. Theres no greater feeling that finding a piece of the greatest puzzle in the world, and being content to know that it will never be complete. |
Contributing photos to FAG is a natural progression and its been an enjoyable experience.
If an individual added to F-A-G by me is a relative of yours, I'm happy to transfer.
My own family interests are BEAMIS-BLUMHAGEN-BOB/BOBB-CLEMENS from Germany-DICKERSON-FEIGNER-SAUNDERS
I am happy to transfer a memorial I've created if you are closer in relation than me --- as, I am likely NO relation to the majority of memorials I've entered. My motivation is for every individual to be memorialized so a decendant or relation can find them on the web.
I believe being related by whatever degree is better than not at all, and I do not have rules that you must be related "within 3 generations" or so .....
If you do not want a memorial, but wish for a 'bio' or other info to be added, please write what you want, tell me how to credit the writing to you, and I'll add --- but first, think if you'd rather maintain it yourself and ask for a transfer!

I usually keep my suggestions, but couldn't find the particular email that the list referred to, so I probably was just sharing info with you since I am not only researching my 3rd great-grandfather, but the time period he lived through and his FANS. Probably ran across the tidbit somewhere and thought it would help you with info for Mr. Goodwin. Hope it was helpful. Thanks for your reply.

Hi Cindy, we have transferred both Pearl and her father, Johnnie Bobb to your care. If there are any other of your family that we have memorials for, please feel free to let up know and we will transfer them also.
Best wishes on all your family research.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Paul & Sherida

God bless you for the James John Banks photo! I REALLY appreciate the hard work that the volunteers do to help out the Finadagrave members.

Yes, I noticed that. And unfortunately, that memorial is incorrect. I will contact that member and see if they will either correct it or merge it with the other.

Thanks so much for taking the photos of the grave of Civil War Veteran Archibald Marshall. Requesting permission to use the photo in my research of the men of the 120th OVI. I always give credit to the photographer for the photos.

Hello Never Forgotten,
Thank you so much for getting and posting the photo of my 4th Great Grandfather's grave. I had suspected that Martin Baker and Esther Walton shared the same plot and monument, and that their information may have been on different sides of the same stone.
The story goes that, their son Joshua moved their bodies from the family farm to the cemetery some time after 1872, following the death of his second wife. She had previously been married to his brother and, in her will, requested that his body be moved to the cemetery to be buried with her, as well as, their deceased children, who were also buried at the farm. Joshua also moved his parents remains to the cemetery at that time.
Thank you again for the effort you took to find and photograph it.
